“Easy check in and comfortable. Hot water and cold water were not marked and the hot water was very slow to come out so it was inconvenient to wait for five minutes wasting water until the hot water came out. To make matters worse I was informed at check-in in rather officious manner to keep the door closed and the vent switched on or the fire alarm will be set off. As if I was all ready culpable. “This is our second stay at this hotel. Its rooms have been modernised but still show a hint of their earlier days which is a look I like. Great shower and small kitchen area for a morning wake up cuppa. Heaps of restaurants nearby and of course the bars downstairs. Even though the rooms are above the bars it’s not noisy at all. ”

“I booked this for my parents. They said it was very comfortable and homely. Reminded them of how accommodation used to be - quality and personable. The host Sofia was very hospitable, really lovely. They enjoyed breakfast of fresh home cooked bacon and eggs with freshly brewed rich coffee with the charm of yesteryear sitting around a large dining table altogether with the other guests enjoying happy & friendly conversation guests. A very pleasant overnight stay in the Barossa indeed”

“The room was clean and tidy. The location of the property to Adelaide, suburbs and beach is fantastic. The meals were fantastic also. I would stay there again. The property looks a bit old and sad. Maybe a good coat of paint would help and some nice plants. Check-in staff were very reassuring and helpful as I wasn't comfortable to check-in on line.”
