Wonderful upscale Hostel/Hotel.

We had a private room with a bathroom. Tje bes was extremely comfortable. We lived being able to cook dinner and breakfast in the large and well stocked communal kitchen. I highly recommend staying here.

Very close to the centre of Wanaka, basic room but comfortable and clean, fantastic kitchen and eating area and nice chill space on the second floor. Very good value.

A completely average stay. The room was as basic as it gets. Ok if you want to be in and out overnight but do not expect any frills.

Eric’s one night stay in Wanaka

This place made me think I was in rehab. Its very institutional and devoid of any kind of decorative flare to make you feel welcome. The room had nothing except a bed, a useless dresser, and a bare lightbulb over your head. The bathroom and sink were tiny. I don’t mind bare bones hostels but this was not worth the money they are charging. 6/10

Value for money. This was a couple room with private bathroom. Very basic things very there like soap, towels and shampoo. They have separate kitchen for everyone if any one need utensils or cooking related amenities . Kitchen is all the way down and a bit confusing location. The don’t have parking

Amazing location. Next door to grocery (New World), coffee shop, pastry and crepe and within a few mins walk to Patagonia Ice Cream and the lakefront. We stayed in twin room. The room was simple with only beds and rubbish bin but beds are comfy and towels are provided. Kitchen is by far the best we have seen in NZ backpackers & holiday park. Fully equipped and have enough fridge and shelves for everyone, plus they offer free milk for coffee (dairy and vegan). Bathrooms are great. Small but clean and there are enough cubicles so you never need to wait.

Unfortunately we mistook this for a Hotel and not a Hostel considering the price, so were quite shocked when we arrived. The room was very small and the "en-suite" was a cupboard. Of course no facilities in the room. Extremely noisy with people opening and slamming doors until quite late, then during the night the wind came up and made an awful whistling sound and draft through the window, actually knocking off an item left on the window sill. No sleep that night!!

Great kitchen facilities. Great french patisserie and charcuterie next door, as well as coffee cart. Great bookshop and cinema across the road, supermarket just behind building. Easy walk to lake. Superb position!

Surprisingly very quiet (individual room/bathroom). Well positioned in town, easy access and parking. Clean, renovated (in my corridor at least). Good to split chill out room from tv room. Don’t be rebutted by reception on first floor. A bit sad that over 5 washing machine only 1 was not out of order.
