The property is old but in good condition. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Very quiet location with a pub and decent food and a good breakfast. Plenty of free parking and a large outdoor seating area. Being located in Thornes Park it was nice to take a walk around the grounds. No air conditioning so the room was a little warm, but would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location set back in large park; rooms are in a purpose-built annexe behind pub, so no pass through noise (although pub was generally quiet and very nice, especially the garden); easy parking; short drive to Hepworth Museum; breakfast was delicious; friendly and efficient welcome. Great option for those looking to break up journey between London and Scotland, or just visiting the area.
