The outdoor pools and grounds are amazing. Just be prepared to walk alot between the lobby and rooms, shops, and restaurants. Our room in the Maiki building was nice. Although, for a view facing the sunset an ocean facing view in one of the other towers might offer better views. We had a nice view overlooking the lagoon, pool, towards the ocean north vs. west. Over all, there service and staff were wonderful.

It's a fun hotel with lots of amenities to enjoy. However, since we couldn't check in until 4:00 and had to leave the room by 11:00 the next day we had little time to experience the extensive grounds. Unfortunate to only have a one night stay but was necessary this trip. I also miss the boats as an alternative transportation to the often crowded tram.

The Palace tower was beautiful. Our room had a great layout and beautiful esthetic. Views are scenic no matter which direction the room faces. Breakfast buffet was delicious and bonus was that the kids under 12 had free breakfast if they were accompanied by an adult. Pools were large and the kids enjoyed the water slides. Loved walking around the property and exploring the landscape/sights, dolphins, ponds with sea creatures, getting a Dole Whip, etc. The only unfortunate part was that we were only visiting the resort for one night so did not have enough time to see everything. Would love to come back!

What stood out most was the setting and the amenities, especially for families. The property is expansive and gives kids a lot of room to explore and enjoy themselves. The natural lagoon was the highlight of our stay. Being able to snorkel right on property, paddle around comfortably, and even spot sea turtles made it a unique and memorable experience. That feature alone created moments the kids will talk about for a long time. While the rooms felt a bit dated and the service had more of a large resort, chain-style feel rather than a highly personalized experience, the overall space, layout, and lagoon environment balanced that out. The atmosphere works especially well for families who value activities and room to spread out.

Stayed in the Palace tower which is about an 8 minute walk to the main lobby area, then a few more minutes to the car unless doing valet. There’s a tram that can take you between the towers but it can take some time. It was a really nice property, beautiful views. The palace tower was new renovated so the inside was nice and clean and pretty spacious. Perfect for families as there are lots of activities and the pool looked nice. Or for people who are just wanting to stay at the resort. I came with friends and we did a lot of exploring outside so didn’t get to thoroughly enjoy everything the property had to offer. Real nice place though. They had an issue with the key system at check in so we did have to wait some time and it took a while to get resolved, security ended up having to let us in so that was a little inconvenient but otherwise good stay. Had some food at the lagoon grill which was not bad, everything’s pricey so be prepared for that.

The property is stunning and our room was lovely albeit very expensive (ie $1900 Canadian with breakfast). The lua was disappointing as it’s pretty much impossible to make a group of 800 people feel special. We will definitely come back but will be watchful of prices and special events .
