Room was dusty, no good for someone with respiratory conditions. Lift apparently stopped working the day before we got there, had to use the stairs. Cleaner was helpful and asked if we needed more towels the next day. We stayed 2 nights. Convenient location in the main street. Beds were lovely and comfortable.

A converted old pub, but fresh with all amenities. The room was a good size, comfortable bed, bathroom was not small and functional. The TV was internet connected. Downstairs, breakfast is served, but we had our own, so didn't have opportunity to make use of this.

Loved the self check-in Pricing was affordable. Quiet and dark which was great! Private. Not suitable for long stays but great for overnight stopovers, conferences, work travel etc. All amenities were as advertised. Cleanliness - sheets, bathroom and high use surfaces were good, but finer details were lacking. Location was great as was the fact that there was parking (not under cover but off street).

The property is in an excellent location and the decor reflects the name of the property. Very 'New York'. The room we were in appeared to have a drainage problem as the drains in the bathroom were smelly. The tea and coffee had not been refilled and were sitting on a window sill in the sun so we gave them a miss. The soap containers in the bathroom were empty. Bed was comfortable and clean. Overall, would probably stay there again but make sure we had soap in luggage.
