We had a fun and fabulous visit to Wild Oryx which coordinated with the start of Middle East war. They took great care of us, ensuring us that this is our home if we need to stay. We enjoyed jeep tours both north and south which were great. The accommodation was comfortable - nice bed with sunrise view and en suite bathroom - and tasty meals. We felt very taken care of and cared for during an interesting time.

A Night Under the Stars Like No Other Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles is one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life — and every detail proves it. The staff are simply the soul of this place. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate, they anticipated every need and made us feel truly special from arrival to departure. The bubble rooms are pure magic. Sleeping beneath a canopy of stars with the desert sprawling around you is breathtaking. Impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, and far more spacious than expected. The air conditioning deserves special mention — maintaining a blissfully cool interior while the desert blazes outside is an absolute stroke of genius. Comfort and spectacle in perfect harmony. The food was a revelation. Fresh, generous, and beautifully presented — dining under the open sky as the sun melted into the horizon is a memory I'll carry forever. The excursions were the perfect finale. Expertly guided, awe-inspiring, and full of wonder. Our guide's passion brought the landscape alive in ways I never expected. This isn't just accommodation — it's an experience that recalibrates your sense of wonder.

Exceptional. If you want a remote location, where you can feel alone and away from all the other bubbles, to see the stars at night, choose Wild Oryx. Beyond the location, the owner and staff are genuine, they really want their clients to have a wonderful experience and they are very happy to share their culture. We opted to do tours with them as well and they were well organized, we could tweak them and the guides knew the desert and the best locations. I can’t say enough good things. Be aware you leave your car at their town location and they drive you out in a 4x4. All bubbles have air conditioning, wifi and hot showers. Thank you very much for making our experience something our children willl remember for the rest of their lives.

This is an experience you can’t miss when in Jordan. Stay with Eid and his family for the best experience in Wadi Rum. You have to do at least one tour, best is the southern tour. After watching sunset you will proceed to your Bubble and a buffet dinner. Eid’s camp is in the northern half of the wadi, so you will see amazing sunrises from your bubble.

Eid was a great host, he made us feel welcomed. The location is secluded which allows for great stargazing. The jeep tour was the highlight of our Jordan visit. The food is outstanding. The domes have comfortable beds, AC and good WiFi. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I recommend a minimum of a two day stay, you won’t regret it.

Overall, we loved our stay. The host was incredibly accommodating and kind the entire time. He planned our trip and booked everything we wanted, including camel rides, a hot air balloon experience, and a jeep tour of the desert. We were lucky enough to be the only guests in late November, which made the stay feel very secluded and peaceful. One of the biggest selling points for me was that this camp isn’t surrounded by many other sites. At night, you can see the stars so clearly, and the host makes sure the lights don’t interfere with the experience. For anyone looking for a true desert adventure, this should be your booking.

Wild Oryx was out of the way of other bubble camps which is what we wanted. We wanted quiet and no light pollution so that we could see the stars. Eid is the owner and very attentive. While planning I appreciated his quick and thorough responses. The camp is what is expected from a camp in the dessert. The food was good local food. The activities are great but pricey. The staff were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay.

our stay in this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we visited the welcome office, the owner made is feel care for and complete safe( which is the most importantly). His thoughtfulness and genuine concern for our confort made a huge difference throughout our stay. The staff was incredible attentive and dedicated. The location is absolutely fabulous-unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Ee could see the stars right from our room, and waking up to the sunrise from our beds was unforgettable. Other camps are close to village this is perfect because it further and not light around. My friend and I felt safe and enjoyed this experience. We highly recommend this hotel and will love to return.

Booked Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles was one of the best decision for my trip to Wadi Rum. There are hundreds of other bubble camps, to me, Wild Oryx is the best. There are only 5 camps, so you will receive personalized services. The camp is clean, nicely located that you can easily see sunrise from your camp. The food is great, they cooked traditional food on my last night with them. Eid, the owner is super friendly. He arranged transportation to pick me up from Amman to Petra, then to his place in Wadi Rum, and back to Amman. He is also an honest person. My kid likes wild oryx and the team a lot, and she wished we'd stay longer. Very recommended.

We truly recommend this camp. They are very welcoming and friendly - make you feel like part of family. Nice location of the camp as bit secluded to give you the best experience of stargazing without the need to book any additional tours. Directly from your room you can also enjoy the sunrise :) food is also great and you can try local cuisine. South and north tours are also nicely organised, you can enjoy them at your own pace and without any rush. Unforgettable experience.

Out of this world

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay here. Its us truly out of this world waking up to views of the desert. Eid was the perfect host and guide on an incredible tour of Wadi Rum and helping me conquer my fear of heights to climb Umm Ad Ami mountain.
