“Lovely rooms”

“There's a lot to praise at Dunston hall and you'll read about that elsewhere. I just want to point out one defect in the hope that someone at Dunston Hall will see this and take some action to prevent it happening again. We ate at the brasserie on 3 evenings and the cooking was, with one exception, very good. The exception was on the last night when one of my hasselback potatoes turned out to be bad . “Room was clean. Staff friendly. Good breakfast included in room rate. Well stocked bar.”

“A distinct lack of staff all through my stay particularly at breakfast. Reception was unattended both at check in and check out.”
