Great stay, just a little noisy

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Efteling - it was the perfect location for this! The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal we had in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were lovely and brilliant with the children. The family room was spacious and comfortable, it could have done with a kettle and hairdryer, but otherwise good. The only issue we had was the noise - some from other guests but mostly from doors banging late into the night and early in the morning. Overall a great stay, but we feel the hotel would benefit from some soft-closing doors!

This is a hotel very close (less then 10 minutes drive) to the Efteling park, that’s why we chose it. We had a family room of four. The room and the bathroom were spacious, however the furniture and overall look and feel was very old and outdated; there was no soap, shampoo or any other toiletries in the bathroom, no kettle in the room. The breakfast was ok, without any variety, the staff were friendly, however since the hotel and especially the restaurant were apparently out-staffed, the service was very slow.

Shouldnt be classed as a 4 star hotel.

This was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The place was very dated and although the rooms were a good size. It felt very drab and depressing. There were no tea/coffee making facilties, no fridge, no hairdryers, no air con. The TV was very small for the size of the room.

Schoon hotel.met aardige mensen. Eten is lekker en veelzijdig. Hotelkamer is gedateerd en met 5 personen waarvan een 3 jaar is, zijn 4 bedden echt te weig

Das Hotel wirkt von außen sowie im Eingangsbereich modern und einladend. Leider täuscht dieser Eindruck: Unser Zimmer war zwar groß, aber sehr veraltet und deutlich staubig. Parkplätze waren abends knapp – wer später kam, musste an der Straße parken. Das Frühstück bot nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl und entsprach nicht den Erwartungen an ein Vier-Sterne-Haus. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch das Servicepersonal: alle waren freundlich und bemüht. Die Nähe zum Freizeitpark Efteling ist ein klarer Pluspunkt. In Summe: Gute Lage und netter Service, aber Renovierungsbedarf bei Zimmern und Frühstück.

If you're looking for a place to stay for a night or two, this option is acceptable. The room only provides towels; if you want a kettle, tea, coffee, or an iron, you will need to collect those items from the lobby. Additionally, the lights in the bathroom kept flickering, and on the last day, there was a strong, unpleasant odour coming from the drain. Good location for the Efteling theme park.
