Vacations Close To Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve

Quaint hotel. Booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay for my daughter’s graduation being held at the USS Midway. One for myself and another for my daughter & her family of 3. The rooms were clean, but the space was much smaller than we expected. Randomly the plumbing of the sink in my room started bubbling and seemed as if it were going to come up the sink. I was able to stop the bubbling by running the faucet, but it was happening often and into the night. So, I wasn’t able to rest for our early flight in the morning, as it kept waking me up and I’d have to get up and run the faucet to make it stop. Again quaint, but I likely won’t be booking a stay here again.

It had been a little while since it we used last and had a musty smell, but nothing 30 mins of A/C and open doors couldn’t solve… then the price is right— go to hotel in Del Mar!

Rooms with views were nice Condition of room not good Carpets are dirty Room decor is older

Our room was ok clean. The bed was really hard and there was a gap underneath the door. The housekeeping was washing the walkway and when we entered the room the carpet was soaking wet. The tall tropical plants look unkept. We did enjoy the pool areas. It was an overall ok stay . The surrounding area is on the dirty side so I don't think we will be back. Looks.like some people were living in their car /RV which we could see from.our room window. It is pretty at night.
