Very spacious

The unit was very spacious. Good also to have use of a deck outside it. We would have liked to have a sponge to wipe sink and counter etc, and perhaps a tea towel. The luggage storage cupboard was great as our departure flight was early evening, long after checkout.

Very nice and perfect for my needs. The only nitpick is that the walls, despite appearing thick, let in a lot of noice and th family in a room above me yelled all through the night which was a bit annoying. Not the fault of the service, though, if people can't behave.

Hotellet Àr fantastiskt fint! Fint inrett, vÄrt rum hade högt i tak och gamla takbjÀlkar som viskade om husets Älder. NÀr jag kom in i rummet kÀndes det som 5/5. Men desto lÀngre vi var dÀr desto mer saker mÀrkte vi som drog ner betyget. Det handlade frÀmst om att det var vÀldigt slarvigt stÀdat, ingen hade stÀdat grundligt pÄ lÀnge. Saker var trasiga, som tex bÀddsoffan vilket gjorde det lite bökigt för oss att sova i den. Köksdelen kÀndes inte helt funktionsdugligt dÄ det saknades grytvantar tex, skÀrbrÀdorna var i plast frÄn Ikea och var sÄ anvÀnda att de var helt uppskurna och missfÀrgade (ville inte lÀgga min mat pÄ den), 2 av 4 kaffemuggar var chippade. Hotellet skulle lÀtt kunna höja sin upplevelse om de sÄg över skicket pÄ sakerna i rummet och bytte ut mer frekvent samt började stÀda mer noggrant.

Mainio sijainti, siisteydessÀ toivomisen varaa

Hotellin sijainti on mahtava. Huoneiston siisteys ja varustelu voisivat kuitenkin olla paremmat. Saapuessamme huoneistoon vessasta löytyi edellisten asiakkaiden kÀytetty kylpypyyhe, lattialta löytyi lasinsirpaleita, ja yllÀpitosiivous on selvÀsti jÀÀnyt vaillinaiseksi vuosien varrella. LisÀksi kaikille yöpyjille ei löytynyt petivaatteita. Keittiöön olisimme toivoneet myös mikroa. Huoneisto oli kuitenkin sijainniltaan mainio, ja oikein symppiskohde Visbyn vanhassa kaupungissa.

Vi bodde i rum 8 inne pÄ gÄrden. Som delades med privat boende. Smutsigt otrivsamt sopor kassar med flaskor och burkar till pant. Gick in i en grÀnd genom en port. Mörkt. Fönstren var fulla med spindel vÀv emellan. Ingen diskhanduk . PÄ foton över boendet visades en mysig terass med fina möbler och grill. Fanns ingen grill, dÄliga möbler blomsterlÄdor med vissna blommor. En jÀtte brant trappa frÄn gÄrden upp. Man kunde gÄ ut om och sen in en annan dörr frÄn gatan.och upp genom hotellet. Inte sÄ kul att gÄ pÄ gatan med mat och dryck. Annars bra lÀge inget fel pÄ rummet. Kontaktade Repet pÄ mail. Hörde inte av dem. TrÀffade aldrig nÄgon.

LÀget Àr toppen men AC fungerade inte vilket gjorde lÀgenheten mer eller mindre outhÀrligt varm, framförallt nattetid. Vi bad om att AC skulle fixas, de sa att de skulle komma under dagen dÀrefter ingen kommunikation, och ingen förbÀttring vad gÀller AC. DÄ hotellet ligger pÄ vÀldigt livlig gata, och vi var tvungna att öppna upp alla fönster för att kunna andas i allafall andra halvan av natten, blev nattsömnen urkass pga vÀrme och ljudnivÄ.

JĂ€ttebra lĂ€ge och bra storlek pĂ„ rummet, men lĂ€mnade ganska mycket mer att önska. KrĂ„nglig incheckning dĂ„ vi inte fĂ„tt kod till ytterdörren trots bĂ„de mail och sms till boendet flera dagar innan. VĂ€l pĂ„ plats ringde vi och dĂ„ visade sig att numret gick till ett annat hotell. Saknades bla pĂ„slakan och örngott till bĂ€ddsoffan och vi hade fĂ„tt tre badlakan till fyra personer. StĂ€dningen var ocksĂ„ dĂ„lig med kladdiga handtag i köket och hĂ„r kvar i duschen. Kylen var jĂ€ttekall, sĂ„ vĂ„r fĂ€rska frukt som vi stoppade in pĂ„ kvĂ€llen var delvis fryst dagen efter. Saknade ocksĂ„ en del utrustning: hade önskat nĂ„gon typ av diskstĂ€ll eller diskhandduk till till disken, en stor skĂ€rbrĂ€da (fanns en liten som var delvis trasig), en sax och ett skohorn. Knivarna var vĂ€lanvĂ€nda Ikea-knivar sĂ„ det var inte direkt lĂ€tt att skĂ€ra grönsaker. Ganska enkla saker hade höjt upplevelsen rejĂ€lt, nu kĂ€ndes det lite som att man ”gett upp”. För det pris vi betalade hade vi helt enkelt vĂ€ntat oss mer, vi fĂ„r ett hotellrum i Stockholm för samma pris och dĂ„ var vi inte ens hĂ€r under högsĂ€song.

NÀra till allt, svÄrt att fÄ kontakt

Boendet ligger verkligen mitt i Visby vilket passade oss perfekt. Det Àr högljutt, Àven i december, men det stod pÄ boendets hemsida sÄ vi visste redan om det. Det fanns ett nÀstintill fullutrustat kök, saknade nÄgra saker som sax. Vet inte om toapapper och soppÄsar skulle ingÄ men det fanns inte pÄ rummet iallafall. Vi skulle bo 4 personer och dÄ var det bÀddsoffa för 2 av oss, den var inte utbÀddad och sÀngklÀderna var inte pÄ. Det fick vi fixa sjÀlv. Men överlag ett bra boende, man fÄr definitivt vad man betalar för. Vi kan absolut tÀnka oss komma tillbaka. Ett stort minus var dock att numret som stod pÄ hemsidan inte svarade sÄ att fÄ kontakt var svÄrt.

Helt okej och bra lÀge MEN i stort behov av underhÄll. LÀgenheten behöver lite fixas, lite smÄsaker men badrummet lite mer. Den gemensamma terrassen var i undermÄligt skick och grill finns inte mer som fanns tidigare. De svarade aldrig i telefon och pÄ e-post vÀldigt dÄligt/ lÀgenhet 7 familj med 2 barn.
