The staff is always great to me! Always have a room when I need it for my furry friend and I.its a small motel but the rooms have coffee maker,microwave, and frig. They also welcome ur furry friends.

A welcome surprise, booked accidentally and we are so glad I did. Its an older motel, but the owner was wonderful, so freindly, rooms were surprisingly bigger than expected, bed was comphy, location was great, Viroqua diner right next door, it was quiet, clean, we have nothing bad to say. Had frig, micro, coffee pot, TV was good, free wifi, just a great experience all the way around.

The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed.

This is a typical roadside motel with units 1-10 side by side. It is clean and roomy. The staff friendly and helpful though we didn’t really interact much. The bed was large and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small working refrigerator (with small freezer that worked really well). The motel is Dog friendly. The downside: There was no hair dryer in the room. 1 ply toilet paper. AC window unit poorly fit into the wall. Ugly green bathroom paint (like from a grade school color and poorly applied). We slept well. Don’t expect luxury but a useable space for sleeping.

Viroqua stay.

Our stay here couldn’t have been any better. We had an event across the street at fairgrounds. There are also many good places to eat within walking distance.

I was attending an event nearby and chose a low-priced place … and I’m glad I did! The Midway gives you your money’s worth, shares a parking lot with a surprisingly good restaurant and overall I would recommend it to anyone.

Little Lifesaver

The host is extremely kind and made the check in process a breeze. He even accommodated a slightly early arrival which he was well within his rights to refuse. There’s plenty of parking and free amenities like AC, cable, complimentary soap, and a little coffee maker. It’s difficult to find lodging in this area and this is a great place if you’re looking to save or in a pinch.

We have stayed here before because they accept pets (for $15 extra a night). There's nothing special about the motel, just an easy location for a decent price. The beds are a bit uncomfortable and the rooms could use a little updating with paint, but otherwise just fine.
