The view was incredible and staff was very helpful/nice! Rooms were clean. You can see wear and tear throughout the rooms/building, but nothing that felt unsafe or unsanitary. Great location too, right near the pier and playground.

If you want a full oceanfront view do not book a king bed with a jetted tub. The building has a wall that protrudes to your right and blocks your view including view of the pier. Stay in a room without a whirlpool in your room and you will love it there.

Room was clean overall, no bugs but we had black mold in our shower and our ceiling was cracked. No breakfast, there is coffee but no cream or sugar was put out the whole week we stayed. There was one sugar packet the whole time. The staff was always preoccupied on their phones, eating or genuinely seemed to hate their jobs. The view was lovely but for how much you pay I would not recommend spending it here.

This was a huge room at a reasonable price. We got a suite that had a full kitchen and a balcony. The property had a nice and well maintained pool and it was within walking distance of absolutely everything we came to do. The place is definitely a little dated, but it was under construction for improvement. The parking wasn't the best but nothing we couldn't deal with. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a quaintly maintained hotel, overlooking the beach. We would completely come back!

We booked a deluxe sweet which came with a hot tub. Honestly, I really don’t understand the negative reviews this place has. The hotel is small but just right for a perfect couple getaway. It is a bit old but it did not bother us at all. Our last beach trip we stayed in a more updated hotel and wasn’t really impressed with it. We will definitely book again! It was a bit of a bummer there wasn’t breakfast but they have a breakfast buffet just nearby that was soooo good i’m still thinking about their homemade butter. The beach is so close and the mexican restaurant los palmas was such a hit and has amazing drinks.

Had an issue before check-in where I was charged an additional $500+ when I had already paid in full upfront via the Expedia app. Luckily, we got the charge reversed, but it really put a damper on things on our way to VA Beach. It was a good value stay overall. Our room was kept very clean - trash was always emptied daily, with clean sheets and new towels daily. Never had to ask once. Parking near the building was difficult, and honestly, should be free. Beach view was good and near lots of restaurants and sights. If we hadn’t experienced the over-charge, it would be a 4/5 rating for the value, view, and proximity. Sadly, I can’t come above a 3/5.

I liked that I had an ocean veiw with a door leading to the balcony; plus a table and chairs to use while enjoying the view and sound of the ocean/beach. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The parking was sometimes inconvenient when the small lot next to the entrance was full and I had to drive up a ramp to look to see if there were any open parking spaces, then turn the car around, drive back down and drive about a block down the street to enter a lot that allowed me to park (for free) close to the Inn. Then I had to walk around the Inn and up the parking ramp to enter the building. When ever I requested help with something, my request was completed quickly.

Had a square hole in the wall exposing pipes and a towel wrapped around one of them. The toilet leaked water from the back. The painting crew painting the outside of the building sprinkled paint on guess cars!! And my Acura looked like someone sprinkled green glitter on my car!! The view was nice, the pool was nice.

First, the great stuff. Linens, floors, bath were clean. Some scuffs and missing paint as this is older hotel but housekeeping was excellent. Right at Beach and every room has ocean view balcony. Bed was comfy, but very high off floor. AC was fine. Shower was wimpy. They are not serving breakfast now but there is a nice serve yourself coffee maker with multi choice selections and cold water on tap free of charge. Close to many shops, eats and an amusement park. Construction on one side. Did not notice noise. Only entrance was very sharp incline drive. If you drive up and park, walkway is level. Walking sloped drive was challenging for me with cane. I would not dare try with wheelchair. Only one elevator with some wait time. My door was difficult to open and close and hardware actually became loose by time I left. Got discounted price thru Expedia and that made up for some of the inconveniences. With good price, I would stay here again.
