bien sauf jours de canicule !

hĂŽtel un peu dĂ©suet mais ayant tout de mĂȘme du charme, idĂ©alement situĂ© au coeur de Vire, mais un peu bruyant tĂŽt le matin avec la reprise de la circulation. bon, il suffit de fermer la fenĂȘtre ! le hic c'est l'absence de climatisation... je comprends qu'en Normandie cela ne soit pas la premiĂšre prĂ©occupation, mais les annĂ©es prochaines, ça peut le devenir ... a part ça, rien Ă  redire, personnel et Direction sympathiques !

La cuisine est bonne. Tant mieux car le reste n'est pas terrible. Chambre haut de gamme, enfin chÚre, pour entendre la machinerie de l'ascenseur à chaque utilisation. Insonorisation déplorable, comme cela j'ai profité du programme télé de mon voisin jusqu'à 1h du matin. Baignoire pas assez large pour un gabarit 'homme normal. Enfin bref, c'était la premiÚre fois mais surtout la derniÚre fois

Tout est propre et le personnel est agrĂ©able et efficace. Par contre nous avons regrettĂ© un manque d’aĂ©ration dans la chambre, mĂȘme en ouvrant la fenĂȘtre, ce qui d’ailleurs nous expose aux odeurs d’extraction d’air des cuisines Ă  l’arriĂšre , ou au bruit cĂŽtĂ© rue. Une odeur de beurre rance Ă©tait prĂ©sente Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, et nous avons mal dormi par manque d’air alors que les tempĂ©ratures n’étaient pas encore caniculaires.

Niet naar verwachting

De omschrijving deed meer beloven dan uiteindelijk waar gemaakt werd. Zo betaalde ik meer voor de supreme kamer, maar daar zag ik weinig van terug. Blijkbaar was het enige verschil dat je aan de andere kant van het hotel lag. Ook stond continu de verwarming (centraal geregeld) aan. Waardoor het veel te warm was op de kamer. De douche viel ook bijna uit elkaar, en de oplossing van hen was een douchegordijn. Je kan ook beter in de stad Vire wat gaan eten ipv het restaurant bij het hotel, want dan betaal je minder en eet je net iets lekkerder. Wel tevreden over het Engels van het merendeel van het personeel.

Hotel vieillot, cher pour la prestation. Literie, draps et serviettes ok mais tout le reste...douche bouchée, paroi de douche déglinguée, impossible a fermer. Dans les placards tapisserie qui date, fenetres simple vitrage...étonnant.

Three night stay

After the initial surprise of the room we were provided with, not what had been requested, the second & third nights were better - we were at the back of the building away from the busy road junction. The staff were helpful & considerate to our needs. The hotel has not been modernised & there was no disable-friendly aspects available, other than a lift between floors. The bedrooms are of a standard that resonates from the 1990's which deserve some investment.

No A/C made the stay difficult

Staff very helpful. We stayed during a warm period in Vire, and as the hotel has no air conditioning, it made for very uncomfortable nights. The hotel offered no fans so we had to purchase one to ease the discomfort. I’m sure at other times of the year, the hotel is quite comfortable.

plus de personnel aurait permis de gagner du temps

La problématique de la tenue des rÚgles sanitaires du au covid ne facilite pas la tùche du personnel. Ici la personne était seule a servir les petits déjeuners, répondre au téléphone et s'occuper du rÚglement des clients. Cela donne quelqu'un qui court et de l'attente pour les clients. A part cela, la climatisation aurait été d'un bon secours dans les chambres afin de moins souffrir de la chaleur.bonne literie et confort correct.

Chambre spacieuse mais bruyante

A notre arrivée nous avons été upgradé pour une chambre plus grande ce qui était appréciable. Grande chambre et salle de bains spacieuse. Lit confortable. Le seul bémol est que la chambre donne sur une rue trÚs passante et bruyante.

Clean simple and friendly

We used the hotel for a quick overnight stop while looking at property in the area. A very welcoming and helpful reception. A clean comfortable and functional room with tea coffee making facilities. I nice simple continental breakfast and a very good price. We'd recommend a stay.
