We booked the room, and got a confirmation both from Hotels.com and a message in the app, that we were welcome. We arrived, 1930, after 8 hours drive, and looked forward for a good dinner... The hotel was overbooked, and no room available for us. I am not sure who is responsible to maintain availability towards Hotels.com, but I assume it is the hotel sharing their availability. My advice would be to call the hotel, and check their availability. Staff did not speak Norwegian.

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Helt OK svømmebasseng og sauna. Jeg var der i juli måned, noe som var OK. Men stedet er nok mer innrettet på vintersesongen og gode muligheter til å gå på ski.

Dette var et greit hotel, sterkt preget av å være i "non-season" modus i julimåned. Det var svært lite belegg og enkelte deler var preget av å være stengt og stablet bort. Hele etablissementet var dunkelt til tross for strålende sol ute. Rommet var enkelt,men pent og med flott utsikt. Badet virtket også nyoppusset. Både svømmebasseng og sauna var åpen for gjester, selv om det var sparsomt med lys og liv. Men helt greit. Når skiføret er tilbake er det nok ganske anderledes. Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet for turer i fjellet og som innfallsport til Hardangervidda. På plusssiden må innsatsen på kjøkkenet trekkes frem. Vårt middagsvalg var en overraskende smakfull og hyggelig opplevelse.

Det var dårlig rengjort i fellesarealene. Rommene var imidlertid rengjort og greie. Hotellet er veldig slitt. På rommet var fjernsynsskjermen delvis knust. Det er også svært negativt at en ikke får sjekke inn før kl 1600 ved ankomst.

Nödbelysning mist 10 armaturer var ur funktion. Ventilation var avstängd på hotellrum. Det kom bara ljummet vatten i duschen och stor risk för legionella. Mögel i dusch och trapphus. Receptionen kunde bara engelska.

Hotellet ligger i den dejlige norske natur på Rauland. Lidt ærgerligt at personalet ikke taler norsk, al kommunikation sker på engelsk. Hotellet er lidt slidt, og den ene morgen var der kun lunken vand i badet.

Han som resepsjonen var meget hyggelig, imøtekomme og hjelpsom + artig. Kelneren car tafatt og dårlig. Rommet var dårlig og slitent. Ikke helt om med rengjøring. Middagen kan ikke kalles koldtbord og var høyt priset for utvalget. Frokosten var heller ikke noe høydare. Dårlig matutvalg. For dyrt i forhold til hva du fikk.
