So much to do here! Room was pretty good besides rust in the tub. Well maintained grounds. Pickleball, tennis and basketball courts are really top notch. And the whiffle field is awesome. Dining options are pretty much just bar food. Only option for breakfast is Starbucks, with very limited, ok options. The shuttle to the golf course is great!

Great property and staff. Plenty of activities! Heavy pool usage probably caused it to be "cloudy" water. Only real problem was like so many hotels, the HVAC system created a damp musty smell due to the need for cleaning and new filters. However, would stay again.

We may be more particular than most people. In our room (402), the door to the balcony needs repaired as is hard to open & the shower nozzle needs replaced. Cleaning of the room was just okay/not excellent. Pool area was beautiful & Doc’s was a nice amenity. We were particularly disappointed in the Summit Restaurant, which has excellent service but the food quality was lacking. Everything was heavily over-peppered. Overall Shanghai-La Resort is a beautiful facility in a gorgeous location. We just maybe expected a little higher standard in our room.

Very small rooms. The pool is too small for the capacity of people. Residents of the area are also allowed to use the pool as well as the guests of the hotel. There are also not enough chairs. This is a great resort for families with kids.

Clerk was friendly but given no information about the property. Discovered only one restaurant is open Monday through Wednesday! Not even the pizza restaurant was open. Only breakfast was a Starbucks with food they microwaved. Pool bar was open and friendly staff. Inside bar closed at 9 pm. Had a nice dinner at The Summit on Thursday night. Room was noisy. Could hear people walking above us. Bathtub needs replaced. Bathroom door was hard to close due to sticking across floor. If you golf it would be worth the trip but we aren’t so I doubt we will be back.
