L’arrivée devant la cour du château est charmante. L’enchantement s’arrête malheureusement là. Outre le goût qui peut être subjectif, l’ensemble des infrastructures laisse vraiment à désirer. En particulier la literie - pourtant la clef de voûte dans un hôtel - qui est visiblement très usée, des oreillers (les 4 dont nous disposions) remplis de boules de coton, particulièrement inconfortables. À un tel prix, on s’attendait à un niveau très nettement supérieur, étant pourtant habitués à voyager et dormant à l’hôtel plus de 60 fois par an… nous ne reviendrons pas.

Pas aussi plaisant qu'espéré

Elégant château, accueil chaleureux et très beau rez de chaussée. Les choses se gâtent un peu dans les étages. Chambre Cardamome relativement jolie. L'architecture de la chambre donne de beaux volumes mais manque de praticité. Par exemple, accéder à sa valise dans l'espace réservé est difficile à cause de la hauteur réduite, tandis que la cloison de la salle de bain ne ferme pas totalement - intimité limitée.Chaque chambre porte le nom d'une épice. Mais cette thématique est très théorique car dans la chambre, c'est une odeur d'humidité et de produits bas de gamme qui règne... Très bon emplacement près de Roanne et juste à côté d'Ouches.
