Excellent service, free parking, very good breakfast buffet, thankfully the restaurant was open for dinner. Only discomfort was the hard mattress, which is common in Portugal, but difficult to have a good night's sleep.

Dont let the outside of the building influence you. The rooms ars big and clean, bed is a bit to hart for me, bathroom has a big tub and is very clean, breakfast is awesome and the pool just beautiful. You need a car to get around.

This hotel is an odd experience. On a beautiful small island, it is a giant architectural eyesore. We stayed here as there are not a lot of choices. But the hotel is a few km outside of Vila Do Porto, is huge, soulless and not particularly welcoming. It’s like a giant concrete lot where they park all the island visitors. They advertise a fitness center as part of the hotel. It is in the same building but not associated and they charge you €7.50 a visit. It’s tiny and was crowded when I tried to go. Not worth it. The staff at the hotel were nice enough, the included breakfast is nice enough. But if you can find a more authentic place to stay on the island, go there instead.

Great value

Very spacious hotel that included a nice breakfast. While we didn't use the outdoor pool/cabana area, it looked like a great setup. The views from our balcony were great, although it was located close enough to private residences that you could hear them in the day time (construction, etc.) The shower water temperature would fluctuate pretty constantly, which was a bit unpleasant. When using the sink, the water would dribble down the spout and onto the counter, which was a bit strange. You could also easily hear other guests while in the bathroom which is not unique to this hotel, but also not preferred. The front desk was nice and pleasant. They were able to call us a taxi (as the taxi did not speak English) easily within minutes. We tried a pork sandwich and a hamburger from the bar, which were large portions. They were tasty but not great, but a good value nonetheless. All in all it was a nice stay and we would come back.

Our apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. The staff were very accommodating in calling taxis, storing luggage and answering any questions we had. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. My grandson’s favorite amenity was the pool. 😊 Would definitely recommend.

Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable , mattresses need to be updated for more comfort of guests. Limited English speaking channels on TV, Parking very limited. Again , bed was so bed it was like sleeping on a cement floor, No iron or iron board in room and needed more luggage and suitcase stands . Breakfast was okay , staff not very pleasant though .

All around great hotel. One interesting thing is in the apartment suites they don’t have the AC in the bedroom only in the living room When it gets hot that AC in the bedroom comes in pretty handy
