This is another good hotel we stayed during our Iceland vacation. The room and the hotel looked slightly dated but was very clean. Friendly staff, great views and a good breakfast. Would highly recommend.

This is a very convenient property - easy parking, good location, excellent breakfast with coffee, and an actual full gym with everyone you need for a workout. The rooms were a nice size, as well. The property is quite dated and like all hotels in Iceland, the value for the money is questionable. That said, I absolutely recommend staying here.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and in an excellent location. The breakfast offers a good variety of fresh fruit and cold cuts. I would suggest also including plain, unsweetened yoghurt, as during our stay only sweetened yoghurt was available.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very conveniently located in Vik. Rooms are spacious. We are vegetarian family travelling with young kids. The breakfast buffet was top notch with oatmeal, bread, eggs, cereal,.sandwich options, variety of fruits. Highly recommend.

Hótel Dyrhólaey is conveniently located 10 minutes from Vik. The staff was courteous and friendly. However, it cost us $800/night and definitely not worth the cost. It's a very large, dated hotel, and felt more like a college dormitory. Most of the guests were in large tour buses, and were loud coming and going. The website is deceiving - read carefully about dinner. It shows a limited menu with beautiful plated food on the website. That is not what you get. The meals are buffet-style cafeteria quality with large cafeteria-style seating. It mentions something to the effect if you scroll down further and read the small print. The only reason we're giving it two stars instead of one, is that it was clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful.
