Such a lovely place to stay right by the Songnefjord and the car ferry terminal at Vangsnes. Staff are so pleasant. Make sure to try the Gamalost, a Norwegian delicacy, at breakfast!

When we booked, we didnt know what to expect yet we found a gem of a place that offered a homey, cozy feel with modern touches such as a heated bathroom floor and towel rack Paulo and Julia went above and beyond to show excellent hospitality from top to bottom. Room views were amazing and beds were comfortable. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to all who seek and understand a 'home is where the heart is'.

We had a delightful two nights. Paulo and Julia were great hosts. A lovely couple with so much knowledge and great ideas for sightseeing. Our room had an amazing view of the fjord and was very comfortable. Breakfast included home baked waffles and cake! Dinner included fresh pasta! We highly recommend staying here for the authentic experience!

Myself, my husband and son really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very charming, cozy, and clean. The owners (Paolo and his wife) were amazing and made us feel at home. The breakfast was homemade and very tasty. The location was also very convenient for taking the ferry to Hella, and we were lucky enough to see Orcas in the fjord from our room.

Truly, one of the joys of travel is meeting great people, you canโ€™t do better than the owners of this delightful bed&breakfast. Paolo and Julia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. I had the pleasure of sitting by Paolo while he played on the piano. Breakfast was plentiful. They were kind enough to prepare a plate and hot coffee for my late-rising husband. The location is wonderful too, a short drive to Vik and opposite the ferry that sails the Sognefjord.
