All good but clarify check-in details

Everything fine except check-in instructions should note the keybox is up the three smallxflights of stairs, as there are three keyboard; one outside, one, inside, and the correct one, several flights up. Friendly cleaning staff, TV good for media, and coffee maker appreciated!

I liked it was cozy, welcoming, easy to access, clean, and the area around is beautiful. What I didn’t like is that it was too hot inside with only a very small fan in the room, also sometimes it was too loud in the area that i hear the music noise inside the room.

A nice surprice - full value for money!

God and fair deal for this room. It is placed very closed to center and all tourist attractions, but is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. The room was nice and clean with simple and functional furniture. The size of the room was bigger than normal hotels which is nice. Access to a new large kitchen was excellent for making your own breakfast (supermarket around the corner with freshly baked bread).

No AC, unfortunately. Otherwise, employees are nice, easy self check-in. There is a restaurant on the ground floor which doesn’t close until 10 or 10:30pm, bring your earplugs if you want to leave the window open.

Great Location near metro etc. has shared kitchen..free self service laundry. Not luxurious BUT cant neat value for price. Clean _ Great housekeeper. Tricky location of checkin box.actually on 2nd level..you will get it. Also Do NOT eat at that Nasty overpriced recommended Pizza place - plenty of places to chose from. Also grocery stores a few blocks away.

Check in was confusing with more than one lock box. We arrived at 240pm but had to wait for the key dispenser to activate by 3pm ( room ready guest waiting - unremarkable) Television had some increadibly irritating narrator always on “volume 12” , xyz show - cant touch rhe control withoutbthe tv talking

Excelent location.

Riess city hotel in Vienna is in s very strategic location, only few steps from the Tram D stop that will take you to the most important Museum in the city. The hotel was recently renewed and the personal in very helpful. I highly recommend it.

We never received a email with our check-in code and had to call support. It took calling 4 times before we got through to someone. The property was also extremely hot with not air conditioning. I would not stay here during the summer. I also want to mention that the luggage storage was accessible by all guests and I would be hesitant to leave any valuables there.

Excellent experience

This is a wonderful place to stay in central Vienna, just outside the ring. There are excellent amenities with lovely restaurants and cafés nearby. City Hotel Riess could make it easier to contact them with questions or concerns. No lift so you need to carry heavy luggage up 3 flights, but worth it for the price and convenience. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly.

Good for a couple of nights

Did not receive email to give me access to building after 2pm. Was travelling with friend who had used different booking agent so no problem. Nice to have fruit available and coffee pods once I worked out where they were. Home made cake also nice touch.

Convenient, clean, easy in/out

Great hotel, well located and fuss-free check in and check out. I arrived late at night and it was super easy to find the location, access the key machine and get into my room. The only down side is that there is no air conditioning other than opening the windows which have limits on them, so it was rather warm due to the heatwave. There was a large fan provided which was effective, but quite noisy to use in the night. The in-room drinks (water bottle, coffee sachets) weren't replaced when the housekeeping came each day which was a bit odd, but otherwise it worked perfectly for a short business stay in Vienna.

No wifi, and no service

Zero wifi for must of my stay which was extremely irritating for someone travelling from overseas who doesn’t want to accumulate serious roaming charges! Since it is self check-in there’s nobody to complain to. It’s super easy to lock yourself out of your room by accident (door locks automatically) and difficult to contact somebody to come let you back in. This whole self-service idea is really absurd.
