Insgesamt angenehgmer Aufenthalt, sehr guter Service, mittelmäßiges Frühstücksbuffett und die Lage am Prater ist fußläufig zu Innenstadt gerade noch OK, aber die direkte Umgebung eher uninteressant. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber liebevoll im retro-style möbliert, die Dusche war durch den Duschvorhang immer komplett überschwemmt, was etwas nervig war. Insgesamt alles in allem jedoch gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit wirklich aufmerksamen Service. Frühstücksbuffett muss nicht nicht unbedingt sein.

Modest price for Spartan accomodations

This converted nursing home, that is now a hotel, is clean and in good repair. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was about as Spartan as I have experienced. No TV, no clock or radio. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. The king bed was comfortable. It was provided with two twin-size comforters and two pillows. The fresh gray color paint on the walls of the room retained the institutional feeling of a nursing home. The price of the room was modest. So we were satisfied with our Spartan accomodations.

Das einzige was mir gefallen hat war die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die günstige Lage. Die Zimmer incl. Toilette / Dusche sind trotz Renovierung völlig veraltet. Geht los bei Duschvorhängen billigster Sorte die am Körper kleben bleiben, kaputten Fliesen über nicht funktionierenden Fernseher ( konnte bei drei Übernachtungen nicht zum laufen gebracht werden ) , keine Schreibtischlampeverfügbar ( trotz Hinweis in der Hausmappe ) , kein Telefon, keine Minibar bis hin zu Unkraut auf dem Balkon

It was very stylish in a kitsch fashion yet with all modern facilities. Small details would make it even better. There was no coffee in the room but there was tea. It would be nice to have the option if I so desired.

A lovely stay at the Magdas. Would definitely go back. Nice room, very clean. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very well located in the Prater area. Interesting history, a beautiful park, excellent for a nice jog or walk. Loved the area. Easy access to trains and transit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice lounge with grilled sandwiches available in the evening. Such a fabulous story to the hotel as well. Inspiring.
