Nice and spacious room. It is very well connected to the city centre and the main train station. Avoid the bar though unless you are ready to wait more than 1/2 hour to even order. Friendly staff.

We’ve been very happy with our stay at MAXX Hotel. It’s beautifully decorated and located. It’s amazing location for the U Bahn as well as local restaurants. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the area and the city.

If you are well-travelled this hotel is more a 3 star hotel than a 4. Ridiculously expensive for what they offer, nothing nearby to eat…. Very bad restaurant food. Aircon not working properly and they attempt to charge us for a room upgrade because the aircon wasn't working in pu original room and in reality we got a downgrade, for free but the room was much worse. I don't recommend this hotel. And it shouldn't be rated as VIP in Expedia….

the interior was not the newest. the water kettle was leaking water. had to carry the iron and ironing board myself from the lobby to the room (where I assumed the staff would help a little bit). nevertheless, good place for a short stay at this price. the wellness facilities are all free. what a pity that I didnt get to enjoy it!

The hotel was really clean and well presented, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were really polite and helpful. The sauna, steam rooms, gym and rooftop facilities were clean and well looked after. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Top notch experience

I had an exceptional experience at the hotel. The comfort of the rooms was outstanding, everything was very clean and fresh the spa area was truly relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel took in consideration my requests. The hotel is located conveniently close to the metro/overground station. Definitely a option to consider in a next visit to Vienna.

Hotel lobby was very bright and welcoming. Staff lovely and helpful. Room very clean and spacious very much like a London hotel room ! Bed huge and comfy ! Room service everyday! Sadly windows didn’t open! Hotel situated further away from the centre of Vienna than we anticipated,but easy access to and from, without all the noise of the centre! Defo would recommend to friends and family!

Location is good, easy transport to city centre. We loved breakfast. Excellent spa. On negative side- air con on wasn’t working, not possible to open the window for some fresh air. Strange room cleaning arrangements-after 6pm. So we had to stay with few dust balls underneath furniture

The hotel is easy to get to from the airport. CAT train into Vienna and U4 to Margarentengürtel and then it’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Check-in was easy but was not offered the perks of being a gold member. The room was spacy and nice at first look but quickly noticed lack of cleaning. The table around the sink in the bathroom had not been wiped off as the were stains from toothpaste, in the shower there were brown stains on the wall and stains on the floor in the room. Next day I politely pointed this out in the reception and asked for the shower to be cleaned and floor washed. The receptionist promised this would be taken care of by housekeeping. When I returned nothing had been done and housekeeping had not even remove/replaced the dirty used coffee cup. The shower and floor was never cleaned as asked and promised during my stay. In general the housekeeping is lacking. They didn’t bother to make the bed or remove the dirty bath mat or glasses on the last day. They just placed a clean bath mat beside the dirty one, very strange. I also discovered dirty glasses from previous guests. I don’t eat at the hotel or use the other facilities so can’t comment on that. What a disappointment.

Das personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Zimmer waren leider etwas verwohnt. Der einzige Sessel im Zimmer hatte einen sehr verschlissenen Bezug, und der einzige Stuhl im Zimmer war sehr schmutzig. Die Lage vom Hotel auch in Bezug auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel war sehr gut.
