Quiet location in a northern suburb with easy access to the 38 streetcar and the Oberdöbling S-Bahn stop. Grocery store next door and café adjacent to the lobby. Microwave, fridge, good lighting. Modern fixtures with a little bit of old-time elegance (as the name implies).

Its all good. The only issue is I had to move out as they are fully booked. I asked for the best apartments or even the smallest and they were booked solid for a week. I had to go to another place but will be trying to tske an apartment for a minth next week. Nice place. Sauna, cafe and all the nonsense one requires.

Very nice hotel and staffs … location is a bit far from city center however take 38 tram from the hotel through the end about 20 mins and you reach city center … 2 sparking water and 2 beers included every plus coffee and tea … also mini kitchen in the room is a plus. Really recommended if you want a nice hotel with good price .

It everything you want in a hotel.

We only spend one night. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, they had water and beers in the fridge for us. The staffs were friendly and professional. It was very quiet so we were able to get much needed rest. It a very beautiful hotel.

The business ruins are interesting. The outlets in some parts are not conveniently placed. The dishes are locked up so i had to call for someone to get to them. The bathroom is adequate, but small. It's cozy, but clean and in an affluent area of the city with easy transport options. There is a small kitchen and plenty of stores where you can get food.

A perfect weekend hotel

My stay at the Franz Kaiser Joseph was excellent and provided a perfect escape for our trip to Vienna. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and the parking below was a nice affordable amenity. The rooms were well kept and the noise level was calm and quiet which made it easy to sleep peacefully all night.

Very nice looking entrance. Overall hotel room was clean, spacious, quiet and had all necessities. We arrived few hours early and allowed early check-in. It even had electric burner stove with sink and foldable cutting board. Love the complimentary water and beer in the fridge 😃

Good hotel in nice area

Nice hotel in a nice area. Convenient for public transport into Vienna. A couple of restaurants nearby but easy enough to go into Vienna to eat. Basic cooking facilities in the room inc microwave. Supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk. Small bathroom but adequate, good hot shower. Beds comfortable, pillows not so. Asked for extra pillows. Breakfast not too our taste. Cold meat, salad, bread, only eggs and sausage warm with baked beans on one day. I would recommend this hotel.
