We were greeted warmly on arrival given a really good description of the facilities and great advice about seeing the sites. The rooms were spacious and we were fortunate to have a room with a balcony overlooking the park. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It has an old world charm and has direct access to the shopping complex below.

The service was incredible. They were very attentive. I've been to many 5* hotels which didn't have such level of hospitality. We got very good recommendations of what to visit, were to eat and they help us with our restaurant booking. We liked the breakfast. We'll be back!

For the second part of our trip to Malta, we decided to spend two nights in Gozo to experience the island both during the day and at night. We chose The Duke Boutique Hotel because of its central location in Victoria (the capital), and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sharlon (apologies if I’ve misspelled) and the other receptionist. Sharlon was incredibly kind and friendly, spending a long time recommending the best places to visit and the top restaurants in the area — we followed his advice and everything was exactly as he said. The hotel itself is located inside a shopping centre, which even has a fantastic Greens supermarket. Our room on the 5th floor was excellent: very comfortable bed, nice shower, minibar, and great air conditioning. Breakfast was also really good, with plenty of options. One highlight was the staff’s kindness when we returned late from a Blue Lagoon trip due to an issue with a provider. Even though we missed the usual breakfast time, they kindly waited for us. Every member of staff we met was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return one day. Thank you to everyone at The Duke Boutique Hotel for making our visit so memorable!

Excellent all round.

We only stayed one night but we were pleasantly surprised by the lively room and large bathroom including all the little extras which make such a difference. All the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and excellent value for money. I will be back!

Wonderful experience in clean friendly hotel

Stayed in jacuzzi suite with view of citadel. Wonderfully clean, comfortable room. Wi-Fi speed fast. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to numerous shops in town. On-site carpark was a bit harrowing experience because entrance/exit single lane and very tiny to drive.

Good location on top of the shopping centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Central location, walking distance to Cittadella and restaurant squares. Free parking at the back of the shopping centre. The smell of chlorine (that is everything except eco-friendly!) in the room was very strong. For your information, inhaling chlorine is extremely bad for the health, and I had to leave the door window opened many hours to try to get acceptable air quality. The hotel is also not well insulated against noise. The chatting and the high heels in the hallways are clearly heard from the room. It would be easy enough to put carpet in the hallways to absorb part of that noise.
