Was a bit of an odd check in (no reception) but it worked well.. room was lovely, clean nicely done.. Location was awesome. Was very confusing finding as it has the pub as the address (booked on Expedia) which gave us the wrong address as its no longer attached to the pub.

The location was very convenient. The room was clean and well equipped. There wasn’t really any staff, everything needed for check-in was provided by email. The Spinnaker’s restaurant was very good!

Beautiful heritage property, nice sized room within walking distance to downtown. Soaps were local to the island, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Parking was a bit tight but manageable in a Toyota Tacoma as were were the first vehicle to park. There is additional parking crossed the street.

The location and room itself was very nice - little balcony. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet too. The place is no longer owned by Spinakers Restaurant so it is more of a VRBO situation - no one there to check you in - just use the code they send. I was not expecting that but I liked the set up in the end. Wonderful to be so close to the water. And delighted that Spinakers does open at 9 am so I could get coffee and do try their homemade scones - different recipe every day!

Quiet Location, short walk to town and on the bike routes. Room was very comfortable. Only complaint was that the fire alarm went off as someone did not follow the advertised instructions for turning on the fan and opening the window when having a shower. Maybe the property could have those instructions communicated even more clearly.

We loved this guesthouse. Check-in was easy - they sent us a door code and we let ourselves in. The room and bathroom were large, the jetted tub was awesome, the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and a wonderful location. There is no bar fridge in the room, but we didn't need one. Highly recommend.

There was a strong odor similar to camphor in the room. The surroundings were not clean and there was a dead decayed rat in the compound. Bathroom is very large and has a good bath tub. There is no AC, so sleeping in the summer might be hard. Parking area is not covered and has trees over it. Car was covered with leaves and ripe apple in the morning

Lovely heritage suite with lovely period features. The bed was comfortable and we were provided with high quality, locally sourced soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, and tea. We felt safe and at home here. It was clean and cozy. Parking was very convenient, right out the back door of our suite. The staff was very responsive and helpful too. We are definitely returning here in future!

I would have liked another chair as there was only one. Coffee pods were small but nice to have a selection. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Manager had to be called and told to call the fire department. I would have thought maybe the manager would have received a notification that the alarm was going off. It was also a struggle to have it turned off and to stay off. I received no check in instructions and the house is no longer part of the Spinnaker Pub. That would have been nice to know, but the staff at the Pub were able to provide us with said instructions after a phone call. That being said, we enjoyed our stay. Accommodations are close to downtown (walkable and bikeable).

The Spinnakers Heritage House was an excellent place to stay while visiting Victoria. The room was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed the local soaps and tea. It is a great location - close enough to walk to downtown and cafes in West Vic. The staff was great and we enjoyed our complimentary truffles and beer flight at the pub. We would love to come back in the future - so sad to hear it will be closing!
