Property still under construction so there is construction going on- did not interfere with the finished units- they were beautiful and quiet Amazing ocean views Great trails to explore walking distance from the property The drive in and out is narrow and winding Definitely planning to return

The most beautiful room iv ever stayed at on Vancouver island. Our room was bright, beautiful and views were unbelievable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Staff was great and very helpful. Sooke is a great little getaway. 10/10

You can't beat the view from these units. Each apartment has a virtually uninterrupted view where you can watch the ocean and the wildlife. The kitchen was well equipped and it made for a cozy hideaway.

We had unparalleled ocean front views! It was a breathtaking view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and other items to be able to make meals at the place. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in unit. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. We will definitely be back.

Such a rare and wonderful vacation stay at Sooke ocean resort, the unobstructed ocean view is breathtaking and beyond extraordinary. We were in awe watching the sun setting each night and the abundant stars across the sky at night. Some wildlife to observe, even saw the sea lions swimming! The apartment is well equipped with high-end finishing and comfortable bedding. The gym overlooking the ocean is incredible. The hiking trail nearby is a must-do. The property is located at the cliffs so some units access Our stay at Sooke Ocean Resort was truly exceptional. The unobstructed ocean view was breathtaking and truly extraordinary. We were in awe each night as the sun set, and the sky was filled with an abundance of stars. We even spotted some wildlife, including sea lions swimming! The apartment was well-equipped with high-end finishes and comfortable bedding. The ocean-view gym was incredible, and the nearby hiking trail was a must-do. The property is located at the cliffs, so some units have access via lots of stairs. Reception is only open until 5 p.m, they also sell basic necessities. The property is 15 minutes away from the nearest commercial establishment, but it’would be through lots of stairs. Receptionist only open until 5pm, they sell basic necessities. Property is located 15 minutes away from the nearest commercial establishment, but definitely worth the drive! They are constructing some new units, we are even contemplating to buy one! The whole resort is under construction. Reception is in a construction office. It was 42 steps down and up to our suite, so that is not fun to schlepp suitcases. We are fairly fit people in our seventies, but that is asking a lot. Especially when you have to dispose of your own recycling etc. The view is spectacular but there is no where to walk, and food is a half hour drive away. I think the listing is a bit misleading. They need to put screens on the sliding doors to keep the mosquitoes out.

Gorgeous ocean views! We saw otters, seals, and bald eagles from the balcony. Stunning sunsets. Resort feel, beautifully decorated with coastal furniture. Heated floors. Comfortable beds with ocean views from every room. Keep in mind the units have varied levels, and ours had many flights of stairs. Views from every angle of the ocean and rocks while taking the stairs. The property was under construction, but during our stay, it was quiet. It's a new facility, and there are still some kinks for them to work out, such as the wifi. Be aware that you are facing the sun with large picture sliding glass doors and windows; we could have used some coverings during the intense sun exposure. A beautiful, long winding drive to the resort and multiple deer on the side of the road were spotted. The drive to Victoria is about an hour and a half.
