For a quick stay it was great, not much to it. AC would have been nice. Pool was small and it should be open longer as there isn’t much to do. Location is amazing. You can walk anywhere to get to main points of interest in the city, especially with kids

Good location. I didn’t drive and the hotel was close to the bus stop that takes you to Sidney for a day trip and also to and from Swartz Bay. I was able to take a day trip to Sidney and Salt Spring Island without a car!

This hotel is just okay. Friendly staff, great location. But no AC, curtains don’t black out the room, it is NOT accessible for wheelchairs or strollers (stairs in lobby between front desk and front door as well as between elevator, no doors are automatic). You can hear the other rooms a fair bit as well as busy Blanshard street. If it was just me and my husband we’d survive fine but with a hot baby it was not a great place to stay.

Fast friendly service. Nice clean room turned down. Was amazing accessibility to everything was absolutely amazing. It was like a 3 minute walk to everything. Perfect. Location swimming pool was kind of small, but that's okay, they did have a workout room, but people don't take care of stuff. So they broke a couple things in there. But is what it is? My dogs were allowed there, which was fabulous. They were very well-behaved. And the place was really good about it.

All (but one) of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the cleaning staff. Housekeeping went out of their way to help me. The hotel was hard to access for someone with a disability; the front desk, filtered drinking water, and morning coffee were completely inaccessible, and the bathrooms in the room were extremely hard for someone with a disability; the fixtures were dated. The kitchenette didn’t provide the value I was hoping that it would. At one point the water in the hotel turned dark brown with rust, but they turned off the water for an hour and it was fixed after that. The courtyard was nice.

For the most part , the hotel was good, Beds were comfortable and clean and that was good !! The only thing we noticed , the rooms don’t have AC. Got a little warm in there. We had a baby, and walking around in bare feet was a no no. His feet were black from the carpet in the room. 😞 The pool, needs some attention. Small and just not welcoming at all.
