It’s an awkward place and an unusual experience where we crossed paths with a mix of people. We got a good rate, and I had read reviews, so it was not really a surprise. But nevertheless this hotel won’t be for everyone

When we arrived there were blood stains on the curtains, stains all over the bed, stains in the bathtub and on the shower curtain, and the room reeked of cigarettes.

Front desk representative was very helpful and helped us navigate some booking and check-in issues (not the fault of the hotel or Expedia). Patient and solutions-oriented. Parking was easy and secure, and the room was clean and bed comfortable. The hotel room decor is bit dated, but totally fine if you're not looking for something 4-star. We would stay there again.

Comfortable beds!

Comfortable bed. Building in general needs some renos, but overall what matters is the comfort of the bed, sheets, etc.

Disgusting, moldy, rusty, filthy, smelly, staff hate their jobs and don’t care about you. Ugly decor, stained sheets, dirty bath tub, dirty walls dirty carpet. Just the worst experience and checked out early I was so disgusted and stressed I couldn’t take it anymore.

Property was well located for us with underground secure parking (a must for that neighbourhood) and easy to get to. The main concern was a bathroom and especially bathtub that needed a good cleaning.

Its an older property and it shows. It has what counts though. Very clean comfortable beds, lots of clean and comfortable pillows. The furniture and carpet was great. The bathroom was fine, the tub is old and worn but very clean. Its also the best shower water pressure I've ever had. Nice clean towels. The staff was really great. Hard to beat the value for the price so close to the center of downtown.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to Victoria. It's the absolute best value in the city! The location is almost unbeatable...bus stop close by and downtown just seconds away. The rooms are basic but safe, very clean and the staff are always around to help! Highly recommend!

Located just on the outskirts of downtown, need to be careful if walking at night. Budget place, great value, staff were outstanding. Older building, but clean. Nice and close to walk to arena and other spots downtown. FREE Parking!
