Hotel Texas cuero

We were there for a family hunting trip and stayed here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The front desk person was very accomodating and our stay was very pleasant.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, good breakfast, and clean accommodations. It was great to have a full-sized refrigerator and kitchenette in the room. Location is also convenient, price is great.

Clean and Comfortable

Very Comfy! Excellent level of cleanliness for the price! Having said that there were a few cosmetic things wrong but nothing that made it less comfortable. The management and cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating! The continental breakfast was bare bones but it was provided. The value for the price was excellent!

The office was eager to please! But the up keep is lacking!! AC doesn’t cool very well.Tv didn’t work,lock on door didn’t work, repairs on shower wall not finished. Bedding looked dirty. Didn’t make you want to climb in! Just need some fixing and freshing up!

It stated on the website that there was a pool and hot tub. The pool was green and I was told they got rid of the hot tub a year ago. The parking area was full of potholes and grass was coming through every crack. I told them I was not staying based on this and they said the would have to charge me. I told them I would go take a picture of their nasty green pool and send that to my credit card company then.

Pool was clean. Sheets were clean. Sofa had visible stains. Looked like dried milk and it had hair and heavy dust piles on the back side of left and right arms. Baseboards all full of dust especially bathrooms. At the front desk it takes awhile before you are helped because it is a mom and pop operation.Breakfast was poor. Coffee from a machine with bad water. Batter for waffles tasted old. Complimentary beer was a nice gesture but water in their cooler was dirty. Need to clean out.

Poor value and quality for price paid

Don’t trust the pictures or reviews. This place must be under new management. Not safe here, at all. Dirty, moldy, poor lighting. Broken items in room, room not cleaned, extreme sanitation issues, continental breakfast not provided. Room had horrid smell due to mold and leak from fridge. Bathroom had dirty handprints on wall, blood on shower curtain, no tv remote, broken blinds, and nails coming up in carpet. Management unfriendly, unprofessional, rude, and unavailable. Convenient language barrier they use when they don’t want to help you. Was promised half refund back for 1 night stay, and they never did. Called and filed dispute to no end in response or resolution. Spend the extra dollars for a nicer hotel (recognized name) in this area. Terrible experience we had.

Low cost, bare minimum amenities

Female clerk very friendly but no remote in room. Had to go get from office. Bare minimum thin towels and 5 boxed microwaves in room. Given coffee but then no coffee maker in room. Owner or manager yelled at me for using short planter pot with grey dirt as ashtray. Not a pleasant man at all. Had to use parking lot as many others for cig disposal. Unkemp grass and overall dirty appearance of grounds. Will not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. The room smelled musky when I first arrived. The place was advertised as having a continental breakfast, but there was not. I noticed that my smoke detector for my room was missi as well.

I booked a room to relax and be able to watch Sunday football and a key Playoff Baseball game. Unfortunately the TV is only Direct TV cable and although there were a good selection of channels. I was unable to watch any football or the baseball game. Extremely disappointing!!
