Our stay was okay. Our room key didn’t work. Went to service desk multiple times to get it reactivated every time we entered the room. The air conditioner was soooo loud I couldn’t sleep. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and very nice.

The best stay ever.

We came in with open arms. We talked to the assistant Manager and he was great!!!!TOP KNOCH The rooms were great, very clean. I was impressed with the variety of food for breakfast. They had 3 types of meats, eggs, grits, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, pastry, and biscuits and gravy. I went in there and hug the sweet lady that was cooking. they were all so kind. Made us feel at home.

Broken furniture, the air unit wasn’t working properly nor was the fridge. Things were just in poor condition, which makes it seem dirty. Have stayed at this hotel for years when I visit family. Will not be booking again. The last few times have been under par and this time was the last. Disappointed.

Four Star Experience

I stayed over night for a business trip. Overall the experience was fine. The staff was very helpful. I did go to the front desk and ask for some toothpaste and there was none so she offered me mouthwash instead, which was nice. I noticed some of the gym equipment was old and rusty and I noticed rust on all of the lamps in the room as well. Other than that my room was clean and the stay was smooth.

Hotel room was not livable. It was used as a barbershop from the hair that was all over the room and bathroom. Was unable to get a new room due to hotel being fully booked. Front desk provided me with fresh linen as if i was the housekeeper. Due to the events going on that weekend is was impossible to find another hotel in the area. After calling several hotels in the area and explaining my situation Hampton Inn was able to get me in a room at 1 o'clock in the morning.

From the time we checked in every Staff Member was courteous, helpful, had a smile and was happy and upbeat. They made us feel welcome. The Breakfast was the bimb. The food was fresh and was kept filled when it got low. The 2 ladies were very attentive to the patrons needs. We will definitely stay here again and make this our regular stopping place when we are in this area. The one thing we disliked was the musty smell in the room. After spraying with Lysol to disinfect the room when we arrived, it began to be noticable the next morning about 4 am. Changing the air filters would be a big help to help eliminate the odor. But we still will return. Keep it up.

Excellent attentive staff. Our every concern was taken care of immediately. You had to pay for the breakfast but was it ever worth it? You would never find the value in this breakfast off-site. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and as a matter of fact, I have. If you are visiting Vicksburg for any reason, do yourself a favor and stay here. If it's not the cheapest option, you only live once. You won't be disappointed. I have received absolutely nothing for this review. My lady and I travel often and we were very impressed with this stay. That is my motivation here! Sorry for being long-winded but I am sure I have only scratched the surface.
