Palads Hotel Viborg June 2024

The receptionist was very helpful; he directed us to park the motorbike in a safe area within lockable hotel grounds. Room was large, clean and well-appointed. We didn’t test the en suite sauna or whirlpool bath but the shower was good and the bed comfortable. On thisi occasion it suited us that it was a room-only booking so we could skip breakfast and get on the road.

It's a toss-up.

With Palads hotel, it is all about the room you are going to get. One of their buildings is newer and has nicer rooms. Other buildings have moldy, smelly rooms that reek of mold and old age. We stayed in all of them as we were stuck in Viborg for a week due to a family emergency.

Palads hotellet er faktisk et ret hyggeligt hotel, men du skal være obs på at der både er en gammel- og ny afdeling. Vi boede i det gamle. Her var det med meget gammelt gulvtæppe, 80'er møblement og turkise klinker på badeværelset. Men hotellet har god charme, god seng og en super morrgenmad og beliggenhed.

Meget venlig og hjælpsomt personale. Da parkering var et lille stykke væk fra hotellet, hjælp personalet med at vise os hvor vi kunne parkere. Vi skrev et par dage før ankomst om muligheden for plantebaseret morgenmads produkter/ mælkeerstatning. Vi fik kort tid efter svar at selvfølgelig ville de sørge for det. Og vi fik det serveret ved morgenmad. Alt i alt et dejligt weekend ophold. Exceptionel god service. Vi kommer igen og anbefaler stedet til andre der skal besøge Viborg.

Værelset var ISKOLDT. Badeværelset endnu koldere.... TV'et virkede ikke. Receptionisten (meget flink) kunne ikke gøre noget. Morgenmad: To slags røreæg: begge med tørre skorper. Den ene var overkogt og blåsort i bunden. Det var en tidslomme fra 50'erne... Personalet er meget imødekommende.
