Disappointing Stay – Not a 4-Star Experience

We booked five nights at Antares last minute due to poor weather in the mountains where we had booking originally, choosing the Verona region for its sunny forecast. Unfortunately, we made the decision based solely on attractive photos of the pool area and didn't read any reviews — something we quickly came to regret. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not going to be a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial zone, accessible only by car, and the building itself resembles a prison from the outside. Inside, things didn’t improve. The hotel felt neglected and unclean, with outdated furnishings, rusted doors, broken lamps, stained curtains, and a dirty air conditioning unit. The room came with just one bath towel per person and no hand towels. Despite asking for additional towels daily, housekeeping consistently removed them without replacing them. The bathroom was especially disappointing — the shower was extremely small and dirty, to the point that it felt unhygienic to use. It seems the property hasn’t seen any meaningful renovation in decades. Additionally, while the hotel advertises a spa and fitness center, both have been closed for quite some time, which was never communicated on the website or at the time of booking. This might be a tolerable stopover for one night if you arrive late and leave early, but it’s absolutely not suitable for a multi-day holiday. Antares falls far short of the standards expected from a 4-star hote

Vores ophold pĂ„ Hotel Antares var blandet fĂžleser. For at starte pĂ„ vĂŠrelset. Aircondition fantastisk men sengene var meget hĂ„rde, verdens mindste fjersun pĂ„ 23" sad pĂ„ vĂŠggen og kunne ikke tilsluttes en telfon eller tablet, sĂ„ ens mindste kunne se tv pĂ„ deres fortrukne tjeneste. Ventialtionen sad uden for vĂŠggen og en stikkontakt helt oppe ved loftet som ingen mening gav. Og hvis vi gĂ„r udenfor sĂ„ har vi poolen som var fantastisk lĂŠkker hvis altsĂ„ man kan lige og gĂ„ pĂ„ smĂ„ sten og snitte fĂždderne til blods, som ogsĂ„ skete og dette blev nĂŠvnt for personalet og poolrobotten blev da kĂžrt hver aften, men ingen sten blev fjernet overhovedet. Vi havde morgenmad med i prisen og det var vi glade for da vi hĂžrte hvad aftensmad kostede.... 49€ for en pige og 2 voksene per aften, og maden var ikke jublende vanvittig god eller noget den stil. Det var kylilling i sovs eller tĂžr tilstand. Og personalet dvs livredderen var fuldstĂŠndig kold i mĂ„sen over at der var flere mennesker som lod deres hunde ligge i vandkanten af poolen sĂ„ der kom smĂ„ hundehĂ„r i poolen. Ak ja hundevenligt hotel, sĂ„ burde man nok lige fjerne et fint skilt der hang ved ingangen til resturanten med hunde forbudt skilt.

Inomhuspoolen och gymet och spaat bar stÀngt. Duschen var söndrig och det var smuts överallt. Du kÀnde dig smutsig. Frukosten var vÀldigt smal, dvs enbart bukmat och liter utbud. Utomhuspoolen var lokalt disco, det Àr mÄnga lokalbor som gÄr dit för dagsbad och spelar högmusik.

Non eravamo certi di trovare una struttura accogliente, viste le scarse recensioni...ma in realtĂ  Ă© una struttura datata, all'esterno ma gli interni confortevoli. La hall carina e il personale gentilissimo. Anche le addette alle pulizie sono state disponibili a concederci la camera 1 ora prima. Abbiamo trovato tutto ben pulito e sanificato. La zona piscina molto grande, magari da migliorare la pulizia (sdraio sporche e vissute, anche il fondale delle piscine necessita di una revisione)ma nel complesso abbiamo passato una piacevole giornata. La colazione, nella media. Al checkout, a sorpresa ci comunicano, che avremmo potuto passare la giornata in piscina gratuitamente. É un ottimo appoggio nella zona!

Un incubo spacciato per 4 stelle

L'albergo ha la pretesa di definirsi un 4 stelle, ma il livello non supera le due stelle. La camera assegnataci era vecchia, con mobilio logoro, sporca e maleodorante. Fatta notare la cosa, il personale ci ha assegnato un'altra camera, rifatta da poco, dicendoci che quello era ilassimo che potessero fare. La camera, nuova nel mobilio, era priva di ogni minimo comfort: nei bagni non c'erano né portasapone, né portaspazzolino, né kit per gli ospiti (cuffia, cotton-fiock...), né appendini per gli asciugmani, e l'unico posto ove poggiare la carta igienica era il bidet, non essendoci nemmeno il portarotolo. L'armadio aveva solo 3 grucce (per una camera che doveva ospitare 3 persone per 3 giorni). La pulizia era molto sommaria, addirittura sotto la mensola montata sul letto, c'erano incollate delle sopracciglia finte e un cerotto per il naso lÏ chissà da quanto. Gli asciugmani erano vistosamente GIALLI. Una TRUFFA vera e propria. Un incubo che scosiglieremo a chiunque, perché nessuno (tantomeno le numerose squadre di bambini e ragazzini a spesso ospitati) merita di essere trattato cosÏ.
Sotto la mensola posta sopra il letto, vicino all'interruttore della luce, abbiamo trovato incollate delle sopracciglia finte e un cerotto per il naso

Stay was ok for a one night. We were very dissapointed however that we were not able to use the swimming pool which is the main reason we booked the property. It is quite bizarre that the pool would be closed by 6pm in the middle of summer.

Per essere un 4 stelle abbastanza trascurato, camere troppo calde di giorno, con il sole di giorno ci voleva la temperatura piĂč bassa di qualche grado, la notte poteva andare bene, parco piscina trascurato, con molte zanzare la sera, pulizia scadente,e colazione non da 4 stelle, se avessi dovuto pagare di piĂč, avrei scelto altro, per quello che offre, devono tenere prezzi bassi, altrimenti i clienti vanno altrove, magari piĂč vicino al lago o a Verona.

Das Hotel war gefĂŒhlt wie Ballerman Styl. Hatte jetzt nichts mit Italenischen Flair zu tun wie man es sich in der Region vielleicht wĂŒnscht. Personal war mehr als Desinteressiert. Zimmer Staubig mit Spinnweben ĂŒberall. Zimmer sind mehr als wie in die Jahre gekommen wie der rest der Anlage. Pensionen oder Privat Vermittet Wohnungen um denn See um weiten besser und vorallem Sauberer!

Bliv vÊk FÞrste vÊrelse: TV ikke kobler til (blev dog fikset) manglende rengÞring.. Bruser sprÞjtede alle retninger, stoppet aflÞb Þdelagte bundpropper i vask og bad toiletskyl i stykker, mÞbelfronter knÊkket af.. og ikke en knage pÄ vÊrelset Klagede 4 gange fÞr at vi fik et nyt vÊrelse, og det var ikke nemt at overbevise dem om at det var nÞdvendigt.. Ved booking bad vi om vÊrelse pÄ en lav etage, men vi kom pÄ 3. Poolen var fin men mangler en dybtegÄende rengÞring.. Om natten gik brandalarmen, men den var sÄ lav at der ikke var nogle pÄ de andre vÊrelser der vÄgnede.. ALLE branddÞre er blokeret med kiler, -sÄ de virker ikke.. StrÞmmen gik 7 gange den ene aften.. Talte med andre der fik vÊrelser med skimmellugt, og hvor aircondition ikke virkede.. VÊrelse nr 2 var i meget bedre stand men dog stadig mangelfuld rengÞring.. Der er ikke spa eller fitness pÄ hotellet og lader ikke til at have vÊret det i MEGET lang tid

Beskidt og generelt med lav standard

PÄ billederne sÄ hotellet fint ud, hvorfor vi valgte en overnatning pÄ dette hotel, men det levede ikke op til vores forventninger eller op til de billeder der var online af hotellet. Vi havde bestilt et vÊrelse til 3, men fÄr tildelt et vÊrelse til 2 personer. PÄ vejen til vores vÊrelse er der beskidt (se billeder) og vÊrelset minder pÄ ingen mÄde om de billeder der fremgÄr pÄ hotellets hjemmeside eller diverse booking sider. Vi siger selvfÞlgelig at vi har bestilt og betalt for et vÊrelse til 3 personer hvorefter vi fÄr af vide at vi kan blive opgraderet til en junior suite, hvilket vi takker ja til. De virker en smule nyere end det fÞrste vÊrelse, men det minder pÄ ingen mÄ om en suite. Der er ingen stikkontakter og det fÞrste vi bliver mÞdet med er et hul til loftet.

La struttura avrebbe grandi potenzialità sia per la posizione sia per i servizi che potrebbe offrire. Tuttavia la sporcizia ù evidente fin dall’ingresso. Le terrazze sono discariche a cielo aperto. L’area piscina ù piena di mozziconi di sigaretta sull’erba. La camera era sporca, piena di polvere, datata e poco curata. Un vero peccato!!!
