Great place for a quick get away. It’s within walking distance of the Water Park and close to other resorts and restaurants. Loved the room that was provided to us and the heated pool. Will definitely come back to this resort.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Appalachian Hotel at Mountain Creek. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was also very clean, well maintained, and safe for children. There are two hot tubs next to the pool, as well as a sauna, which made the stay even more relaxing. Parking is free for hotel guests, which was very convenient. The only downside is that the nearby restaurants close quite early, and there are very limited late-night dinner options either inside the hotel or in the surrounding area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for families.

Everything was very nice . Construction was minimal. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My only issue was my final bill was $83 more than my initial quote . I was also charged $10 for an Xtra guest that I didn't have .This is obviously not the fault of the hotel. its in the the booking.

We got a suite, which was big and had a fully functional kitchen. I really liked the space. However there was a jackhammer going from 8:00 in the morning until 4:00 pm every day. And there was no escaping it -- you could also hear it while at the pool. When I talked to the manager, he apologized and offered to refund part of my stay. I never got the refund. We stayed for 3 nights, paid top dollar for a suite, and it was pretty miserable.

Room was clean and updated. We liked the ski in/ski out aspect of the property as well as the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Maybe some kind of covered structure closer to the pool and hot tubs to dry off and change, would have been great .

The hotel venue is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and convenient walking distance to the mountain. However, without speaking to staff, the check in process was VERY confusing. Upon arrival, we walked in circles and across the street trying to figure out parking, where to to pickup lift tickets,etc. Only to later discover the two entities are not connected in business!
