The property looks nice from the outside and is very clean on the inside and the staff is super nice but the rooms definitely need some updating. If they update the rooms it would be a 10/10

The rooms are very basic, but we had everything we needed for our stay. A really nice surprise was how comfortable the beds were. The motel is close to hiking trails. The parking lot for hiking Stairway to Heaven was a 2 minute drive from the motel. If you stay here in the winter, it is only a 5 minute drive from Mountain Creek ski resort. We would stay here again.

I had a late arrival due to unexpected delays. I kept in phone contact with the manager whom I was trying to keep apprised. When I finally arrived at 10.50 p.m. he was totally accommodating and personal escorted me to the room, turning on the lights for me. This exceeded the service I normally have been receiving in other types of hotel properties.

Mountain top views, close to town and scenic attractions. And yes, a walk back in time to the 50's 60's set up from childhood vacations.
