“The room was clean, a couple of staff members were not that friendly. People smoke right outside the front entrance to the motel (yech). However, the price was ok, and for one night it was fine!”

We called down and maintenance came up. He said it never gets cool. We were switched rooms. AC worked a bit better but the room was bad. It was not until morning that we saw how bad.
