everything was perfect during our stay but their room service was a little off putting. they wouldn’t do normal room service. you still get the option to do room service but it was only seafood and they didn’t do it all day everyday. it was very limited.

I was very tired from the trip from New Orleans, connecting in Cancun, and needed to rest for a moment. The manager didn't want to check me in before 3:00 p.m. He only wanted to store my suitcase. It was a little annoying because I've stayed in other hotels before, and they gave me the opportunity to give me the room earlier because they weren't full.

The elevator works great. The staff that check you in was not friendly and barely acknowledged us. But the car attendant staff was super great! Our room was basic, pretty standard, but the lobby was beautiful. You have to put a room key in a slot in order to turn on the air and the lights. So that way, when you leave have to take your room key, you cannot leave the air or the lights on. That was strange, but it worked out fine!

Genuinely loved the hotel and the location. It is directly in front of the main central plaza Zocalo. The rooms are a bit outdated but it’s fine because it is literally a 200 year old hotel. The staff is very accommodating and kind. The lobby is always air conditioned and clean. The cleaning staff is quick and restock everything welll. It is definitely a go back hotel.
