A Hidden Gem in Vera, Almería Valle del Este Hotel is truly an oasis in the middle of the desert. Located in Vera, Almería, the hotel is just about 15 minutes by car from the beach, as well as from several charming and iconic towns in the area, making it a great base for exploring the region. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by palm trees and a stunning golf course. The atmosphere feels like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The one area that could use improvement is the Wi-Fi in the rooms. The connection was quite spotty and kept disconnecting from devices, which was frustrating, especially when trying to work or stay connected. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Valle del Este Hotel. It’s a real gem in Vera, Almería, and a fantastic place to unwind while exploring this beautiful part of Spain.

Well located. Room was basic but clean. Water was not replenished daily which is expected at a 4 star. Pool was great but there must have been a junior golf tournament one day and the pool was extra busy and became cloudy. That night I was very itchy so there must have been an imbalance in the pool chemicals. I couldn’t find anyone to tell. The poolside bar was not open when advertised.

Good location to get to Desert Springs for the DP world golf event. Managed some practice on the putting green too. Only a 1 night stop over to watch the Q School.

Reception desk staff were unfriendly and rather off hand. Spa was fine and price if first visit included in hotel price. Room was a little dated but very clean. Breakfast excellent. Again if you were fir a warm welcome on arrival, you will be disappointed

Have been here several times now and never disappoints. There are a few signs of the age in the rooms and few cracked tiles here and there but still a lovely place to visit. The buffet has reduced in size considerably but there is still plenty of option. Not enough staff in the buffet restaurant to clear tables and bring drinks but this could just be the season is starting to quieten down. Will definitely be back.

We had a large clean room with a golf view. Some of the furniture in the room was looking a little tired.We had a nice rainfall shower but the rest of the bathroom needed an update. The highlight of our stay was the delicious buffet breakfast and the free parking. We were disappointed with the bar staff who, unfortunately, were unfriendly and unhelpful.

Everything was great and the only reason for a 4* review rather than 5* was that the rooms are a little dated, there was a wedding going on so the bar was noisy and no entertainment for non-wedding guests and the food for the evening buffet was cold. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel!

Definitely recommend this hidden gem!

We enjoyed our stay here, would have liked to stay longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the beds were firm yet comfortable. The bathroom was clean, could have used fresh paint and grout cleaner but was spacious and had a great shower. The restaurant and cafe/bar were both very nice too.
