Lovely ocean views, big room that had a back door to the pool area with a little private sitting area. You can walk down to the beach in about 5 minutes, 20 minutes to the pier. Property is in the process of refurbishing but all the essentials are there.

The hotel is an older hotel that has been updated. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and greenery. We could see the ocean from our second-floor room balcony. The bathroom did have an odor, I believe it was the old pipes/plumbing that allowed the odor to enter. The outdoor breakfast area was perfect for starting the day! It was a partially covered patio with a large window facing the ocean and the hotel's flower garden. We walked to the beach in under 5 minutes and walked over to a pizzeria and to a pub within a 12-15 minute walk.

Room was very nice. Cozy and private. The check in staff were very informative and helpful. The breakfast was hot with eggs, sausage, potatoes, paper thin bacon, and cereal/bread options. Overall much better than just a continental breakfast. The view was the best part of breakfast though. Beautiful little sunroom overlooking a garden and the ocean. The gardens are serious neglected but still charming. Overall great stay in a historic hotel.

Pretty run down overall. Breakfast buffet is pretty awful. Fake eggs, cold potatoes. We skipped it the second day. A lot of switches didn’t work in the room, lights burned out. Restaurant is “closed for renovations ” I wonder if they don’t have the money or staff to run it. Not many people there so it was quiet and the weather was beautiful.

I didn’t know the Restuarant portion of the hotel was closed. The first room I was given was so old. It looked like nothing had been changed or upgraded in over 10 years. I complained and was given a smaller room but it had a fireplace and a balcony so that was nice. All in all we had a great time because of all the fond memories we had of the place from years ago. I wouldn’t go again because the hotel is very outdated and as i age I much rather be at a newer hotel for the money we spent.
