It's clean quite modern comfortable with friendly staff and in a great spot alongside the offramp from the freeway and next to the beach path. There are better options if you what to be right ON the beach, but if you don't mind a half mile walk with your stuff to the sand then this is a great option.

Decent price close to the beach walking distance, but if you don’t mind driving like 30 minutes to Santa Barbara then you will be fine. Many nearby store and places to eat from fast food and decent dining places. Rooms clean but carpet can be removed and put tile or flooring for a cleaner and modern look.

The shower in our room would not contain the water. It floods out onto the bathroom floor where the bath mat became soaked. The pressure was insane. Maids did not come by to replenish the soaked mat and linens left on the floor the second day so we had to go out of our way to acquire extras from a non-English speaking individual which made it worse. Another big problem is the pool pump. The noise prevented us from enjoying a relaxing drink one evening in the beautifully landscaped central area. Other than those major items, we loved it. Cleanliness was top notch. The property appeared to be very well maintained. The staff were exemplary! Oh, the batteries in our room safe were dead - had to call engineering for replacements. The staff member commented the batteries looked to be original and never replaced - I noticed acid on one of them due to corrosion. This should be on a preventative/predictive maintenance schedule somewhere right?

Had a great time with family at this Hotel. Location is great, right next to State Park and beach. Restaurant is great, really loved Egg White Caprese. Overall nice and clean. Google Maps needs an update to reflect right entrance to the hotel. Parking is gated. Elevators are a bit dated and corridors are a bit smelly.

A very nice hotel with unique touches, including a lovely courtyard garden, a large lobby/bar area with plenty of seating, and a pleasant all-purpose restaurant for breakfast, as well as casual evening dining.
