Excellent. The hotel was spotless and the staff was great. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. The location is great as well. Just a 2 minute walk to the pedestrian only blocks of Main Street. I'll definitely stay here again.

The character and staff are outstanding. It was a previous Spanish style Elks lodge, and they must have had a lot of fun there. It was just beautiful. We didn't use the amenities as much as we could have. Really enjoyed just sitting out in the lovely courtyard with a glass of wine/coffee in the morning. Convenient too.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The entire property was extremely clean and the room had tons of character, really no comparison to a standard hotel room even in a luxury name brand hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly every time we interacted with them. Only area of improvement would be more storage in the rooms. The gated on-property parking below the hotel is a great amenity. Location is terrific with shopping and restaurants within block and easy to walk.

Everything was great except the bathroom layout. Toilet was separate from the sink and shower which were part of the bedroom. No walls around the shower, just glass. Also the toilet room door did not fully close, so not much privacy. Otherwise a very nice place with excellent service.

Can't say enough good things about this special hotel. The lobby, courtyard and our room were all interesting and beautiful. The staff was kind and attentive. The location is perfect for walking to the many fun thrift stores, amazing restaurants and coffee shops and fun evening vibes of live music on the streets of Ventura.

We had a wonderful experience at San Bueno. The hotel is beautiful, newly remodeled and just lovely. So clean and quiet, located 2 minutes walking from all the restaurants and shopping. The staff was professional, friendly and when we asked, the staff gave us great recommendations to local areas to see and restaurants to eat at.
