I stay at Clocktower Inn every time I’m in Ventura. It’s the best location for me. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The staff is always very nice and accommodating! The rooms are clean and perfect. They also have a good continental breakfast. I love Clocktower Inn and will always stay here when I’m visiting Ventura!

I stayed in one of the bungalows as a temporary place to relax while moving back to Ventura from Atlanta, Georgia, and it was a wonderful experience! My room was lovely, they cleaned, swept, mopped, and changed my sheets every day that I was there. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Anyone coming to visit Ventura I highly recommend the Clocktower Inn!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. You can walk to a little shopping mall and a few eateries. The room was older but seems well kept and tidy. It served our needs as we were only there to sleep and shower.

Great location, just down the street from the Mission, walking distance to downtown. Just an overnight stay - was in town for a funeral. Breakfast was provided, but I did not check it out as there was a luncheon after the service. My only concern was the limited (free) parking. They give you a parking pass, but when I arrived, I got the last spot and was worried about being able to park there when I returned after going out to eat. I did get the last open spot when I got back, so lucky about that I guess.....

Very quaint property. The rooms we had had on bottom floor had fenced in patios. We had bikes and that worked well. The hotel offered to store the bikes if needed too. Location was great for bike trail to Ojai and to the beach. Free breakfast was nice and eating patio very nice. Bed was a bit to foamy for us but, that was the only downside for us.

I just love the Clocktower Inn. It’s very basic and old, half the stuff doesn’t work, lol, but the people are great, and the location to Main Street can’t be beat. It’s rustic, charming, not your luxury hotel experience, but I’ve been staying here for years and years and choose it everytime I visit my favorite city in the world.

The Clocktower Inn is a lovely place to stay in downtown Ventura. It's an older establishment, so it's not fancy or elegant by any means, but it's a super charming, comfortable, and clean Spanish style hotel. The location next to Mission Basilica San Buenaventura and the Museum of Ventura County is ideal for walking throughout downtown Ventura and all of its shops and cafes. It's also easily walkable to the beach area--the Ventura Promenade, Surfer's Point, the Ventura Pier.. To not have to drive and worry about parking is a huge benefit.

Very nice, clean little hotel. Perfect for my weekend getaway. The parking was at a museum adjacent to the hotel property, and I had no issues with my car being parked there. The free breakfast was good, too.
