Cheap but not very confortabel

The hotel is okay when it comes to price, but our beds were really unconfortable. What's more, there's no wifi connection in the rooms, you have to go to a wifi area and when I went there it didn't work. No conditionned air. Rooms were clean and big. It is okay because of its price.

The room is OK for a quick stay in Venice. the location was good, nice restaurants within walking distance and the water bus was a 5 minute walk away. The hostel was standard. We had a room under the terrace area, we could hear every movement made by all other guests, the terrace was suppose to close at 10pm but we could hear people running up and down the stairs until 12am, that wasn't great.

Good price-value for a town like Venice

The hostel is normally a students home - used as a hostel during holidays. It is modern but not very fancy. The roof terrace is awesome and offers a good view over the channel of Guidecca. You can reach the city center as well as the train and bus terminal easily by boat. Make sure to get a Venicecard in advance.

Very terrible hostel. We had some bugs in our room. Room was very hot and we couldn't sleep there. We booked two nights, but we stayed only one night. I can't recommend Sunny Terrace Hostel to anyone.

Contentos con la estancia

En general, contentos con la estancia. Positivo: tranquilidad, trato recibido, habitación grande, vistas desde la terraza. Negativo: hay que cruzar el canal teniendo que coger siempre vaporetto(gasto extra en transporte), mosquitos en zonas comunes(no en habitación)

L'auberge où il faut aller

Super séjour à Venise, et cette auberge y a contribué. Bon.. Quelques points négatifs : très bruyant (les portes sont en métal et se claquent, les gens ne sont pas très discrets peu importe l'heure du jour ou de la nuit..), pas de clim ! (même s'il y a des ventilos ils ne font pas l'affaire..) Aussi nous avons cessé de capter la wifi dans notre chambre au bout de 2 jours donc il a fallu se rendre dans les pièces communes (dommage..) Mais le positif l'emporte malgré tout ! Cette auberge a 2 terrasses (avec transats) qui offrent la plus belle vue de l'île de Giudecca ! Une vue à 360 degrés tout simplement magnifique. Le personnel est sympathique et agréable, des visites guidées de Venise sont organisées gratuitement par l'auberge, des séances de cinéma ont lieu certains soirs sur la terrasse, et nous pouvons disposer d'une cuisine et de frigos (à noter par contre que la cuisine ne dispose pas de plaques de cuisson..). L'auberge est située à 2 pas d'une petite supérette et de l'arrêt de bateau En bref, malgré le bruit de trop bonne heure le matin et la chaleur de la chambre, je recommande vraiment cette auberge de jeunesse pour sa terrasse et son côté dépaysant. Les rencontres y sont sympa !

Billigt Hostel centralt men ändå undan turisthavet

Jag sov eget rum med egen WC och dusch. Billigt och bra hostel i lungt område med gemytlig resturang och bar i närheten. Billig mataffär nära. Dåligt wi-fi i reception men dator fanns på plats. serviceinriktad personal. Båt station i närheten med bara två stopp till San Marco Inte perfekt dammsugit men rent i sängar och dusch. Takterrass med utsikt mot Venedig.

The hostel is pretty nice, it's worthy the price. Staff there are friendly and helpful, and the reception is 24hs. Shipbus station is only 5-10 mins away.

Bien pour du pas cher

La terrasse est un vrai +, regarder "la vie est belle" en plein air sur le toit avec la vue sur la ville italienne c'est magique ! (15 août) Mais le wifi ne fonctionne pas beaucoup (à part sur le toit justement) et les chambres son mal isolées (on entend les voisins). Il fait très chaud l'été. Quartier sur une île calme et tranquille.

Auberge de jeunesse pour tous idéalement situee

Idéalement situé sur l'île de giudecca à 5 minutes en vaporetto de la place st marc. Une île loin de la foule mais très agréable. Hôtel très propre. La vue panoramique depuis la terrasse à 360 degrés est incroyable!!! Seul hic: le bruit des valises qui repartent le matin! Les matelas sont un peu mous. Bon rapport qualité prix!

Great hostel!!

One of the cheapest hostels in Venezia with nice room condition. Everything was fine. Service was multilanguage and very kind.

Leider hatten wir Schimmel im Bad und Ameisen im Zimmer. Zudem hatten wir eine lose Deckenplatte und Gardinen die sich nicht schließen ließen, die ich dann mit Haarnadeln zusammen gemacht habe. Wir haben es überlebt, aber wirklich weiterempfehlen kann ich es nicht.

Check-in con personale che non parla una parola di italiano, camera con muri ricoperti di muffa, senza TV e neanche una saponetta per le mani ed una sola asciugamano piccola che non riuscivi neanche ad asciugati la faccia.

Good place away from crowds

The hostel was nice enough for the price. Don't expect to be able to do much cooking. There was not a stove or oven in the kitchen or even a microwave. Kitchen was also minimally stalled since you couldn't actually cook. Room was okay and staff was very kind and helpful! It was nice to stay not in the main part of Venice which was really crowded in July. It was easy to get to and from the main island using the taxi boats and the hostel was relatively easy to find if you bought a map.

Bra men varmt

Bra med allt utom att det blev otroligt varmt i vår etagelägenhet under natten, vilket var omöjligt att vädra ut. Rummet hade varken fläkt eller AC. Be om fläkt innan första natten om ni är där under högsäsong! I övrigt bra hostel med fin takutsikt och goda kommunikationer!
