Location is fantastic. We had a room with 2 Juliette balconies and it was great to look down on a busy gondola route right below. A few steps from St Marks Sq. Close to shops and amenities. Only negatives were that it needed small bits of maintenance like the lock on door and some TLC on the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well.

Room needs repair in several areas. Cleaning was very basic, only made bed and 2 new towels daily. Didn’t even leave toilet paper or more water. When asked got some toilet paper, no new water. Never changed sheets when had a nose bleed

This location was very hard to find because it blended with all of the shops around the grand canel shops. You have to carry your suits up a flight of stairs very narrow and steep, very challenging for us senior citizens. Once you get to the first floor then you have and elevator and it’s very small. No one is in the building that works at the hotel after hours but I have to say they are pretty good about getting back with you with questions. The room reminded me of a mountain lodge with wooden beams, and the bathtub was so high and deep we almost fell in.

Overall, our stay was okay, but unfortunately it didn’t meet the expectations we had given the price. The hotel was quite difficult to find, one of the bathroom lights was out, and there was an old wall-mounted hair dryer that seemed outdated and would probably be better removed altogether. For a stay costing over $500 for one night, I was also surprised that we had to carry our own luggage up multiple flights of stairs. Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately asked to pay the city tax, which didn’t make for the most welcoming first impression. While none of these issues completely ruined our stay, they added up and made the experience feel like it didn’t reflect the premium price. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
