We only had two nights at Puleera, but that time turned out to be a highlight of our vacation. The breakfast terrace has a view of Etna, which was erupting, so we enjoyed that vista during the day and night. The pool also has views of Etna. The room was an amazing suite with beautiful antique furnishings and a sitting room. The bed was super-comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows without us having to even ask for more. The breakfast each morning was phenomenal! The standard is high from the places we stayed, but so many home-made dishes just stood out, and the morning staff could not have been nicer. Lori stood out from that staff and Poula, our hostess, was also a joy to interact with. The sunset dinner beneath the magnolia is also not to be missed. Surrounded by vineyards, Puleera gave us a sense of remoteness from the nearby bustling towns. In a word - enchanting!

Fantastic location. Nice courtyard. Best way to go to airport from the hotel is to take water ferry to P.Le Roma (bus Termina, last stop) then take "Express" Bus. Ticket can be purchased from conductor when the bus arrives.

We had an amazing stay! Loved our water taxi from airport to hotel. Loved being on the canal. Room was elegant. Staff was terrific. Breakfast was great. Convenient location. It was a dream stay. We did have a problem with the bath tub in our first room. They weren't able to resolve the leak. We moved rooms after a couple of days.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Venice, right by a Vaporetto stop and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Not too far to walk to St Marks Square and a great place to wander from. Our room was on the top floor, very spacious and clean. I think there are probably other rooms that have a better aspect (but we didn’t pay for that!) The hotel staff were very friendly & breakfast was plentiful & fresh with good coffee. All in all a pleasant stay.
