A lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Staff so friendly and accommodating. Room was basic but clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. Breakfast great with lots of choice. Highly recommend this place. Lido is a great location and transport is superb to Venice city & other islands.

We stayed for 2 nights and thought the location was perfect and super easy to get back and forth to Venice. Lido was a beautiful little island and felt there were was tons to explore. The staff was really helpful with helping us figure out the ferry back to the airport and had bag storage incase we wanted to go explore for the day.

Great hotel, in the traditional, grandiose style, which couldn’t be more convenient for the water bus stops…. right across the road. Lots of places to eat and drink around, including the restaurant and gelateria in the hotel itself. Plus the best view of Venice you’re likely to get from the rooms. Great place. Hope to stay longer next time…. though I will bring a kettle for the room, next time!

Lovely hotel near Lido main hub

Nice hotel, slightly dated but very well kept. Rooms a little small, but adequate. Nice breakfast. Lovely service by front desk and restaurant.

The hotel is VERY convenient to the bus and water taxi, which is vital in Venice. Our room overlooked the lagoon with a wonderful balcony/deck. Would stay there again and very much recommend it.

The staff was very friendly, the location was amazing and walking distance to everything on lido island. The rooms were cute and boutique style. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see lido and Venice

Great place to stay. It is right at the beginning of a street full of beautiful restaurants and shops. On the other side of the island are several beach resorts that you can walk to. It is also right across the street from where the water taxi drops you off to the island.

Very frustrated by lack of response from property when we messaged regarding questions about parking. It was identified that parking was available at the property....upon messaging we found out it was two spaces located blocks away. When we tried to book a spot/inquire where it was located we received no response. Given we had no information we had to return our car days early as we weren't sure we could secure any parking. Disappointing experience

4 day stay at lido venice

Hotel ideal location for ferry to msin land. It had a nice bar and restaurant that gave us a complimentary drink each and 15% off first meal. This was nice. Staff where polite and welcoming. Lovely views of venice mainland. Also a short walk to the beaches. The beachrs where very clean and good

Close from water taxi. Walkable to shopping and places to eat. Very old hotel. Meant to enjoy the Victorian toe style. Dont expect a modern hotel. Cleaning lady knocked on my door to clean before i was even checked out. Check out time is 11am she knocked around 830-9am Everybody is super attentive and helpful.

This was our third visit to The Riviera and our reasons for returning was the excellent service and accommodation previously provided. On this occasion we discovered that our booking didn't include a room with a balcony - important for my wife's need for easily accessible fresh air. After making our concerns known the Manager Piero Padovar make a phone call to me in the hotel and said that we could move room the next night - at a very reasonable additional charge. We also discovered a bottle of champagne in our room the following day, which happened to be my birthday. So a potentially disappointing experience was turned around with professionalism and generosity. It remains our favourite hotel in Lido, Venice.

The rooms were clean and floor cleaned every day well. Unfortunately, the staff at reception were not fluent in English, so that you could not communicate properly. On the day of departure or a promised lantsch package not deposited. We had discussed this with an employee two days before, especially since we still had breakfast on the day of departure. Unfortunately, the possibilities to dry the things are missing when you come from the beach. Too bad

Initially I thought I had messed up as I didn’t book a hotel in Venice, yes I know now that this is a small island about 20 mins away from the hustle and bustle when I realized it was to late to change and let me tell you genuinely BEST mistake I’ve ever made. This hotel is so beautiful, it’s in a great place and you are able to easily travel between here and the main tourist parts of Venice. I really needn’t of worried. 10/10 for everything apart from the mattress in the room my side of the bed was a little lumpy but I dealt with it.

The most delicious patisserie and coffee shop on the island 😍

The window on our floor was so picturesque

The best choice I could have done to visit Venice

Hotel is just in front of Lido boat station, the 'Chatelet Les Halles' of Venice, 15 min of St Marc at any time day and night. You are also at 10 min walk from the beach (Lido island is the only place with a beach in Venice) for a morning run, a paddle or catamaran rent before going back to St Marc for dinner?.. What else?.. as would say George : the view on Venice old center from the room at sunset or sunrise..?😁 After a long day into beautiful old crowded streets, you can enjoy many nice bars and restaurants around the hotel in large boulevards or places, and even go to beach bars and restaurants, all of them full of Italians, not tourists! But please keep it for you!..
