We found the Hotel Mercurio to be an ideal centralized location with very easy walking access to the Rialto area, the St. Mark’s Square and San Marco Pier area as well as many others. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The daily breakfast had a very nice selection and variety of foods to satisfy various food tastes. Please note that it has a very small shower in the rooms. (Which was totally fine for us) We would definitely recommend The Hotel Mercurio when visiting Venice!

Hotel is very well located. Staff was extremely cordial and helpful, especially front desk staff Monica and Daphne. Only negative was the very small shower in which it was difficult to bathe.

We had the canal view suite and that was an amazing experience waking up to the singing from the gondolas. Room was nice and clean. Staff were nice and helpful. Great location. Would definitely go back and recommend. My only recommendation to the property is to provide a small fridge, tea/coffee supplies, and have steamers/irons available to lend at least. There was nothing in the rooms. No available iron to borrow. I was a bit turned off by the fact that someone was asking for a bowl and they would not provide it and were wanting to charge one euro for providing a plate. That’s a bit petty for a pricey hotel. I asked the restaurant next door for cutlery and they provided silverware no problem. That’s my only suggestion and it’s still a wonderful place to stay.

The location is the biggest reason to stay at this hotel. It’s in a great area for exploring Venice, with many attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room had air conditioning, which was a big plus during the summer, and it also included an in-room safe but it doesn’t use a code and a key hasn’t provided Breakfast is continental only, so don’t expect freshly cooked items or made-to-order dishes. One thing to note is that the hotel only provides body wash/shampoo and a very small bar of soap. If you prefer lotion or your own toiletries, be sure to bring them with you. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location, helpful staff, and comfortable stay.

Perfect location, nice and cozy room, comfortable bed. At night it's quiet. The breakfast is very good if it's included (otherwise it's a bit pricy). It's Venice, so the room is small, the shower cabin is narrow - but it won't pose any problems if you're regular sized.

after a not so favorable stay in Florence, this hotel is a gem. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is additional, but compared to what you would spend at a cafe, I say go for it! Will stay there again!

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, super helpful and nice staff and it looks much better in real life than the photos on this website. The room was comfortable, fluffy bed and good pillows, air conditioning was started before we arrived so the room was perfect when we got there.
