La Calcina hotel was perfect for our needs. Quiet, boutiquey hotel away from the bustling area of San Marco, but very conveniently located! Easy walking to all the sights and restaurants. Waterbus station right there. Food was very good. We will definitely stay here again!

We have been going to La Calcina for years and have enjoyed each stay. The property has excellent location with fantastic views of the Guidecca canal. It is located in a relatively quiet area of Venice and yet has easy access to all the main sites. The staff is very friendly and the rooms have a lot of the old world charm.

Quiet Venice is the way to go.

Lovely property on the quiet side of town. Easily accessible. Excellent service from an attentive staff. Restaurant is quite good. Only comment is get better Pillows.
