Hotel was comfortable and right in a main thoroughfare, so lots of shops and restaurants as soon as you step outside. Great location with quick 2 minute walk from the vaporetta. Good breakfast and great view of a canal and gondolas from the breakfast room

Spent 4 nights at spesific hotel. Good airconditioned basic room with breakfast, nothing special. Room was actually more than expected and it was a great place to go hiding a midday sun as the ac worked brilliantly! Nice staff, good breakfast, great location, great value for money!

The best was location. Breakfast was good, amazing coffe. Staff was kind. No elevator, no door in the shower, it was broken by previous customer and never fixed. We never leave the key at reception while out, I just took away the heavy piece. If you have the opportunity choose for another hotel.

Scam we were rebooked at a worse property that was far from thr city center and had no AC. You cannot sleep at night because you need to have the windows open (since no AC) and mosquitoes will not let you sleep. This will ruin tour vacation.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Wide variety of choices and we could watch the gondolas go by as we ate. Neither of our rooms had canal views, but breakfast room right on canal. Coffee machine, could make however we wanted. Wifi is extremely limited. Only works in small sitting area with 5 chairs. It did not work in rooms or breakfast area.had to be careful in shower doors did not meet up so water could spray out if not cautious. We lwft luggage bo broblem, left in lobby area.

This was terrible - no idea how this made it to the expedia site. Rooms are broken outdated and smells, washrooms are horrible No toilet seats showers are rusted and floors have holes when u walk, casings around the doors ate missing - i complain and changed rooms and it was a little better but would NEVER recommend this place

Really appreciate and deeply thanks for the hotel to help us to adjust our booking mistake. We forgot the timezone difference and booked hotel one day before our actual date with non refundable option. Even the hotel is not available for our dates, they arranged us to their sister hotel with no extra cost. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to almost every place we like. Just the corridor is narrow and no elevator. Otherwise I will give top rate for everything.

The rooms were dirty, light fixtures broken, shower door missing, gnats flying around and just a whole sense of being rundown. I had to move to a different hotel, and the Alcyone would not refund the night. I did not stay due to the hotel conditions.
