I think this was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed at many SLH's - and oasis of tranquility and calm in the historic centre of Venice - only a short very pleasant walk to St Mark's Square (through lovely shopping alleyways) - the Ai Reali is decorated in classic venetian style to a very high standard and beautifully maintained- it is palatial but understated. The staff in all areas were most pleasant, friendly and helpful - breakfast was delicious I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Venice and hope to return in the near future and will definitely be staying in this hotel when I do return- I can't recommend it highly enough

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff was very nice. The room was perfectly fine. The breakfast was good. Our flight was canceled and the front desk team was helpful in assisting with accommodations for an extra night, and also organized our transportation from the train station and to the airport.

Our stay at Ai Reali was absolutely magical, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit and truly experience Venice. It is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Beautiful hotel, really central to everywhere we wanted to visit. Pulling up to the hotel by boat was a real treat and a memorable trip from the airport (usually the boring bit!). The staff were all friendly, and the hotel nice and cool. Our room was exceptional! We had a junior suite with the original gold ceiling, a real wow, it took our breath away - not just the first time, but every time we returned to our room! The bar area and breakfast area were very plain in comparison! Breakfast was nice, and they catered for my gluten allergy well (warm croissants every morning). Concierge were very helpful. We took advantage of the complimentary trip to Morano Glass, and also it was a sales pitch at the end of the tour, it was still very much worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again if we returned to Venice.

The location is outstanding—just a short walk from both Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square, making it easy to explore Venice while still enjoying a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was beautifully decorated in classic Venetian style, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality options, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. A wonderful stay in Venice. The hotel’s classic, dramatic décor creates an elegant atmosphere that feels perfectly suited to the city. The staff kindly accommodated both an early check-in and a late check-out, which made our trip much easier. We were also welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my 24-year-old son Iker’s birthday, a thoughtful gesture that made the occasion feel extra special. The team helped us arrange a water taxi back to the train station, and their attention was exceptional until the very last moment. As we were leaving, they rushed to find me and return some clothing I had accidentally left behind. Breakfast was delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience felt genuinely hospitable. I would happily stay here again.
