The best thing about this property was our hostess Ilaria! She was friendly and accommodating. My sister and I shared a wonderful two day stay and would gladly return simply due to the friendliness of Ilaria. The building was wonderful and historic. Strongly recommend this hotel! Nice location with close walking distances to everything including Vaporettos. Fantastic personel, very welcomming and helpful. Ca' Valeri is a wonderful little family-run hotel, beautifully located right in the center, yet tucked away in a completely quiet alley. So you're close to several major attractions, but can still sleep peacefully at night. The hotel owners provided excellent service, were very attentive, and responded quickly to any questions we had before our arrival. We stayed in room 406 on the top floor with a private balcony. The bedroom was decorated in a charming, classic Venetian style—very tasteful—while the bathroom had a modern design. Everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. If we return to Venice, we will definitely book this place again :-)
